First time fun
Played with my wife and daughter on a sunny day. Pro shop and starter were friendly so the round began on a relaxed atmosphere. Course was in good shape and the greens provided a challenge with hole placements.
Combination with the regional pathway system was unusual for a first timer.
Overall a good day on the course.
Nice, but a Little Too Expensive
Good course, more fair for seniors than its sister Legends course (too long, 6,200 yds from senior tees!). Nice condition, but the mid-day December tee time fee of $115 is too pricey for this course. For this price, I would expect better conditions, better service, and more amenities. A fair fee would be $60-$70. Recommended if you can get this rate.
Taquitz resort course
The course was in good shape, surprisingly good pace of play and greens were well maintained. The pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful.
Dec 2023 early am
Tee’d off @6:30am 44°. 18 holes played in 2hrs 15 mins. Course was in good condition. Has a muni-feel with the homeless camps around holes 1-3 and some “gallery holes” that run adjacent to a public trail towards the end of the round. People walking dogs stopped to chat me up. As a solo, I didn’t mind. All in all a fun course to play, greens were beat up however, yet somehow they were all equally beat up so the ball rolled the same way on almost all the greens except the double green which was in better shape than the other’s. Several bunkers weren’t ready for play and had either standing water or were packed like cement.
Tee boxes were in good condition.
Jack the starter needs to go
I played the Resort course for the first time this year. The starter (Jack) was grumpy and unwilling to work with me as a single. I like playing with people and he would not pair me up with any other groups who needed to fill out their 4some. The course was in pretty good shape for this time of year (coming out of overseed). The sand traps were some of the best I have seen in the area. However there was a 2-5 minute wait on almost every tee box. Jack went out on the course and did NOTHING to speed play up. Someone needs to find him a different job.
First Time
Good course to warm up your game if it’s been a while.
Layout + Views superb
Close to Tahquitz Mountain and downtown Palm Springs affords great views. Coupled with a good layout and challenging water holes, a joy to play.
Surprisingly nice course yet affordable
Played the Resort course. The course condidions were good, greens were in good shape. The pace of play was better than anticiated. We were able to finish 18 holes with a 1:30 tee time, surprising for late November, despite a relatively full course in front of us. I will return for rounds here on future stays in the area.
Course is good - Greens are great
Easy layout not too demanding from the tips.
Large homeless encampments along the first 6 holes.
No marshalls on the course to speed up play…our round was 5 hours. Waiting on every hole.
A great place to play for the price
The course is in great condition and we got a hot deal so it was well worth .
First timer…
Visiting Palm Springs over the Thanksgiving Holiday and secured a tee time for Pebble Course via GolfNow…first couple of holes were nice but the course kicked it up a notch from 4 on….challenging, well tended to, decent pace of play even for the Holiday time, hole 7 is epic… go forth and enjoy!!
Resort Course is Fun
This was a very nice course to play. The layout was challenging. Would definitely play it again.
