Beautiful track with lots of water
First time playing this course and wont be my last. The conditions from tee to green where outstanding. The course is beautiful with lots of water. Since this was my first time playing I took the starters recommendation and played the Green/Gold tess (5900 yds) next time I will play from the Green tees. Need to be accurate off the tee's. Greens where fast but very true. Carts have GPS which was very nice. Staff was wonderful all around. Cant wait to play again.
I played this course for the 2nd time and it was still amazing. The greens roll true and the course is in the best shape. If your in Orlando take advantage of this great course.
Very good course
Very helpful and friendly staff. Facilities and course layout is excellent. Great mix of tees and holes most with water in play. Greens good and true to putt on. Would definitely play again.
A nice layout and practice area is very close to the first tee.
There is no place to get food or a cocktail unless you buy it from the bev cart. The starter is a little long winded with his opening speech, but it was a great course and well worth the money. I would differently play it again.
Well worth it.
I do not have anything to say negative about the course and anyone working there. From dropping off my clubs out front until after walking off of the 18th green it was and always has been a pleasant experience. My one negative is that they were overseeding the course so it was cart path only, which only because my knees are bad made for a long and painful day, someone should have notified me at the time of booking. If you are from out of town or local trust me you won't be disappointed by the course. #4 and #12 are my two favorite holes, let me know which are yours.
Course was in very poor condition
When went there we were expecting a lot as it used to be one of the best kept courses in Orlando area. Alas it was in horrible shape overall (except for the greens which were ok), it was just over seeded and car path only (what wasn't mentioned in golfnow profile), it was very wet and muddy with huge puddles of water on the car path. The place was basically empty but still the back nine was slow. I hope the condition gets better as we really liked the course in the past.
We appreciate your feedback about your Hawk's landing experience. I apologize our current conditions did not meet your expectations. We always do our best to communicate and provide full disclosure for our current golf course conditions. Any time we are overseeding we also have to irrigate the seed to keep it wet so it will germinate. If you see a maintenance icon on Golf Now and it refers to overseeding this will always be the case until the seed germinates and grows in, which normally takes about 3-4 weeks. We hope you will return on another visit to Orlando. Please feel free to also call the golf shop in advance of booking to speak with one of our professionals about our current conditions and we will provide full disclosure.

Tight Pretty Layout-Great Greens
Not particularly long but very challenging.
Landing zones and Greens are heavily protected by water and/or sand..
Winter grass is about 2 weeks away from being in play.
Greens were like pool tables, and the tee boxes a bit sad but neatly cut.
If your a player that sprays the ball or counts on rolling the ball forward.... don’t say you weren’t warned.
Parking and getting to pro shop need some planning; give yourself an extra 15 min.
Unlimited range balls and great practice warm-up area.
But be warned. This is a target golf type of layout.
You’ll be throwing a few balls away. LoL
Thank you for your comments and review of your recent experience at Hawk's Landing GC. We sincerely appreciate you taking time to provide such a detailed overview of our golf course. Our Golf Grounds team has been working extremely hard to get the golf course in great shape during our overseeding process, which is now complete. We will be off of our cart paths for this weekend and expect to be at 90 degrees in to our fairways weather permitting. The greens are in fantastic shape, currently rolling an 11 on the stimpmeter and our bunker reconstruction project is complete and they are looking and playing great.
We hope to see you again on your next visit to Orlando.
Good Golfing until then!!

The course is in good shape overall, some areas were under repair but did not interfere with our round. My only issue was a 10 min discrepancy between the tee time booked through Golf Now and the Pro-shop which resulted in a 3rd hole startup with the offer to play hole 1 and 2 at the end of our round. The time discrepancy and their clunky “drop your clubs off and push the button for assistance”set up to get you down to the carts was the reason for the late tee off and not because we weren’t there on time. Maybe they should specify that after you drop your clubs off you have to get back in your car and park in a whole different area and then walk back over to the pro shop.
Hey how about some water coolers on the course?
Fabulous course and conditions. But please put some water coolers on the course. I know you guys want to charge for drinks but we brought 4 bottles of water each with us on a hot humid day and almost left because we ran out of water. Gotta stay hydrated.
A ture resort golf course.
I’m a local resident for many years, this course is always a gem. They had a lot of work being done on the back nine to redo the lake front areas and sand traps. It didn’t effect our play and helped on a couple holes. If your looking for a great course and round of golf, Hawks Landing is a good choice.
