Great Layout, very poor course conditions
Falcon's Fire was a disappointment. I played there several years ago and thought the layout was unique (bunkers (seems like a million)line most of the fairways) and not particularly penal. The layout was the same as I remembered but the condition of the course was poor. The greens rolled okay but were sparse at best and did not receive shots well. My grandson played the tips (he is a plus 1) and I played one set of tees up (I am an 8) --- and we both hit the ball high with spin but, regardless of the length of the approach shot, the ball rolled out five to ten yards.
The fairways were sparse (might have been an uneven over seed job) leaving many balls in the fairways in between sitting down clumps of grass. The grass on the back nine was better but still not very consistent. Additionally there were several locations where the sprinklers were either broken or over watered allowing for little roll. Surprisingly, the bunkers were more consistent and better manicured.
Pace of play was average, not helped by a charity shoot out on a par three (for a good cause). As we played 10, we would see three groups on this hole.
The range was worthy of a under funded muni - small clumps of grass surrounded by dirt and divots. Practice balls were extra (why not add a few dollars and give each player a small bucket).
The GPS on the carts was a definite plus. decent over view shot and very accurate distances to the green. Easy to get carry distances as well as from, back and hole locations.
No doubt this course gets heavy play from December through April but the condition was disappointing.
Don't waste your money
The course was in terrible condition with weeds everywhere and dead spot throughout the course. The area had received rain overnight and the "Superintendent" put the course on cart path only for the day. Fairways were completely dry. I know because i was walking from the cart path to the fairways and back. Shoes were completely dry. What a joke. Also, the course was in such terrible shape having cart in the fairways couldn't have made the course any worse in the long run. A Friday morning round at this dog track is worth about $50. We paid $135...TOTAL RIP-OFF. Spend the extra $30 and play at the Disney courses.

Another round at Falcon's Fire
The front nine has more sand than water in terms of hazards which helps us ease into the accuracy. There were ball marks on the greens but I found they ran very true. I think these greens get rolled every day. I think the current 3.7 out of 5 is an fair rating for this course. The course is not in the middle of a subdivision and I prefer this.
If you can book this course for under $100 on a special, do it. It is a very nice course.
Conditions
The greens were good. Fairways spotty. Tee boxes bad. Course was not worth the 125$ green fee. Restaurant and bar area were nice. Good food and the wait staff was excellent
Falcon;s Fire
I was first off so definitely no pace of play issues and I play better than avg. Beautiful course. This is a nice course; I like the layout.
The course conditions were good but not excellent. The staff were top shelf.
I had a wonderful experience!
Nice Track to Play
It's nice to see that the course conditions here have improved over the previous two years. Greens are in decent shape and are consistent. Fairways were in excellent shape considering the amount of play this course receives during the snowbird season.
Staff are always excellent, friendly and the starter does his best to pair you with a grouping as a single golfer. Even though I played "twilight" I managed to get 18 holes in. This is my new go-to course as the prices are reasonable, particularly at twilight.
Exciting course
Played a beautiful course and would definitely play here again. Pro shop staff was excellent and very accommodating.
Good challenge
The course was in good shape except for a few areas outside the fairways which were clearly in need of some work. Some tee boxes need some work. It appears that progress is being made to get the course back to excellent.
The course condition is nowhere near as bad as some of the other reviews suggested. Yes it needs some additional work but overall it was okay.
Good test of golf particularly challenging on the back 9.
Staff
Pro shop and bar service excellent. Starting crew and and drop car area not polite or customer oriented. They try to be to aggressive when not needed like poor people skills.
Not worth the money
Course layout was great ,the tees need a lot of work.
Not what we expected.
Could not quite finish the round because of a very slow and inconsiderate group 2 groups ahead of us eventhough we started our round at 2.30 ish. The course is surprisingly rough in many areas especially around the greens. The greens were very slow and really need cutting. We played in far cheaper courses this winter with better greens. In our opinion this is a 50 to 60 dollar course so there’s lots of those in area to play earlier in the day rather than spending twice that on Falcon Fire.
Staff
They were the best actually above excellent from pro shop to starter , to the end of round cart personnel . Price is reasonable, going back Monday
