Sabal/Grand at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club
About
Located in Pembroke Pines, picturesque Grand Palms Golf & Country Club offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. The nine-hole courses are playable in three combos, with the Sabal/Grand coming in at a 6,682 yards. Of the three, Sabal/Grand is the most helter skelter, combining the shortest and longest nines. The Grand is a tight golf course that offers a challenge for most, what with its raised greens, narrow fairways and challenging water holes. Sabal, by contrast, is a resort-style play, with a gentler game featuring generous fairways and greens.

Dog Track
This is the worst course I've played in memory.
From start to finish it's in shockingly poor condition...garbage all over the place, fungus or damage on 100% of the greens, weeds everywhere and absolutely zero course maintenance evident. We even saw an employee drive a cart across the tee box on one of the holes. Based on the layout I imagine it was a gem at some point but I wouldn't put even a day 1 beginner player on this dog track.
And to whoever gave this place a good review recently I highly suspect you're affiliated in some way with this dump...very uncool to do that to fellow golfers.
the $58 fee was approx. $58 too much.
and I almost forgot, the girl in the restaurant was rude and unfriendly. No food available beyond snacks to start (way overpriced for beer and snacks) and, at the turn, they only had 2 hotdogs left...this place screamed "we don't care"
Greens in terrible conditions .
We had to ask which course/combo we play… poor service .
Sabal course is bad, avoid it
The fairways were okay but the greens were terrible on the Sabal course. Comparatively the Grand course was decent and the greens were thick but puttable at least ...
Average course to play.
Greens need much work and TLC.
The course could be a Florida premier but it just seems like who ever is managing it Wants to just get by. Price for course conditions should be no more than $25. Staff and starters are very good. I think it’s time to sell the course to a good management company or the city of Pembroke Pines. And make it a great course it has great potential!!
Enjoyable Round
First time playing this course. The starter (sorry, didn't catch his name) was FABULOUS! Our group had gotten split during booking, and he magically got us put back together! Course conditions were's fabulous, but were fine. Greens were a bit weak, with spotty grass issues. We loved the layout, with many fun and challenging holes. Well worth our time, and we all enjoyed the round. Outdoor food tent at finish was a nice touch!
Putting greens awful
Not much to say. Worst putting greens in Florida and maybe worldwide. Embarrassing
The Greens where terrible
It was sad to see there was no water on the course the bar wasn't opened at all no restaurant no cart girl. Just water at the start.
I probably will not be going back .
Hope you make the improvements that the course needs
Grand palms
Way over priced course for awful conditions and pace of play.
needs work
This place was much better a few years ago but right now it needs a lot of care. I just paid $75 for a round and I don't believe it was worth it
Grand palms
Course is awful. Can’t believe this is an actually resort people visit. Pace of play was non existent. Waited easily 6 -7 minutes between every shot. Conditions were terrible. The biggest waste of $72 I’ve ever spent, I would’ve rather lost the money or even just thrown it away.
Good course for your money, pace a little slow on the back, there is no one to direct trafic after the first nine. Would play again.
