Windtree Golf Club has a longstanding reputation throughout Nashville for being one of the area's most finely conditioned public courses. The course boasts pristine fairways and smooth greens that putt fast and true. The front nine is a classic links layout, which contrasts nicely with the back nine where the more dramatic elevation changes come into play. Several doglegs, tree-lined fairways, and some tricky blind tee shots make the back nine a greater challenge. There are also water hazards coming into play on seven holes throughout Windtree Golf Club. One of these holes is the notably challenging par-5 sixth hole. This 524-yard monster has water along both sides of the fairway and requires a difficult second shot onto an undulating green that is protected in front with even more water.

great value for the money
had a perfect day at the course. The staff were very friendly and my husband and I were paired up with a regular that really helped with the shot making. AND, they are definitely lady friendly!
Course was fun
We had a great time. The fairways were drying out, and there were some repairs going on, but overall, the course was in good condition, and the round was a lot of fun.
Half supports, half enjoyed
There was a big tournament party ahead of us.
They might play with the "best ball" method.
They were slow very much.
After 6 or 7 holes, they finished as they did it with Shot-Gun start, so we enjoyed
our golf with no parties ahead of us.
Frankly, we basically always feel slow with other parties.
great elevation changes
great course for the value. I booked as a single, but was paired with three other gentlemen. Everyone got along together, and all were very good golfers also. This may for a very good round. After a few holes I got use to the green speed and turned in a very good round. # 16Tee Box has a very super view. I would play this course again if back in this area.
A quickie
Played here several times now...
Greens getting better shape (golf ears should fix their ball marks)...
Traps are in generally poor condition, some unplayable...

QUICKIE....cause I played 18 in two hours, after starting on clear back nine...I ended up waiting on my 18th hole for the group that had started on number one at same time as me...lol
good shots are rewarded
This course reward good shots, very challenging tee shots, fairways are in great shape which sets up good approach shots, off the fairways is trouble, but doable. course require you to use all clubs in your bag.
Great condition
Great design. Enjoyed the course. Overall in excellent condition except a few of the bunkers didn't drain well
Needs some time to heal.
Greens in pretty good shape for this time of year. 3 fairways completely "ground under reair". New sod work around several greens and should be fine in about 30 days. If your someone that putts from off the green instead of chipping, your not going to like this course in present condition. All in all it is playable and reasonable priced.
Challenging!
Great course. Staff was not overly friendly, but decent. Very hilly.

Ask before playing
I made a tee time for 12:06 and could not tee off until 12:36. No starter on course. Guess they had a outing and that was delayed due to a local group that plays a point game. The round to 6, yes 6 hours to complete, so I suggest you call first to see what is going on before making a tee time. Decent course poorly managed!
Windtree is a great bargain
Overall this coarse is a great bargain. This was my second time playing the coarse and will be back again. Staff was curtious and friendly.
Solid Course
Not a very diificult course, but still a decent layout. Greens were in great shape. Fairways had some choppy areas, but nothing horrible. Definitely worth the $30 deal I got on GolfNow...$50 for weekends would be a little steep for this course.
Nice course.
Course is in great shape with the exception of holes1&6. The fairways are a bit patchy from the rough winter. Greens are looking great and rolling fast. This is a really nice course but $52 is a bit pricey.
Mt. Juliet needs better options
The course is the better of the two in Mt. Juliet, but it still is mediocre. Too expensive for what it is. No better than a municipal course.
Good condition
Enjoyed it, great value on last minute golfer! Rangers should watch pace of play a bit closer. Saturday golf is normally slow though.
A bit in rough shape
Patchy fairways with large sections of dead/missing Bermuda. Greens still with aeration holes. Course should lower price a bit until issues are resolved. Staff very friendly, however.
HAS ROOM TO IMPROVE
HARD WINTER & SOME FLOODING HAS THESE FAIRWAYS IN PITIFUL SHAPE. GREENS ROLLED GOOD.
Great Golf Now Deal
I paired up with 3 other players. The course was in better shape than a lot of Nashville courses I've seen recently. Fairways had some patchy areas, but otherwise were good. Greens were nice, but a little firm for the ball to land on. A good challenge and a lot of elevation changes. Cannot beat the $24 I payed.
First round of the year
Holes 1 and 2 fairways need some help from mother nature to grow in some. Greens were in good shape on all holes.
