Great Course

Great Staff - as a single, they, let me go off in front of everyone, so was able to play around in 2.5 hours. Course in excellent shape throughout, fast greens (I estimate 11 stimp.) Generous fairways, but plenty of challenge.

Not prestine like in past years

Seems like the course is not in as good a shape as it was last year at this time. Greens appeared to be a little damaged in spots and some of the bunkers need attention. We usually try to play the Hills course which in my opinion is far superior as there is only wilderness and no houses to disrupt your golf experience. Jones is still a good track and fun to play even though it is more exposed to the spring Florida winds.

Course in GREAT SHAPE

The fairways are in great shape (like a carpet). Greens in good shape too and FAST. Very challenging. A lot fairway bunkers. Found avoiding bunkers more of challenge than avoiding the water hazards. Plus, bunkers guarding the greens ARE DEEP. You get in here and you're in for a challenging sand shot. Would play again.

Wonderful course.

Played the Jones course and it was in good condition. Staff was friendly.. Wish my golf was in as good condition as the course. Thoroughly enjoyed the course, but not the windy day. Beware the bunkers!

The Magnificent Course ... and then the hot dogs.

Visiting Fla. w/ 2 of my daughters who are accomplished Jr.golfers.Weve always wanted to play at LPGA International and it was finally time . We arrived 1.5 hrs. ahead checked in and hit the range...amazing facility. Everyone and everything was as expected. Top notch. We asked about going off early as we knew we would need
3.5hrish round to beat sunset ...off we went . The course is remarkable. We turned in under 2 hrs.. All was perfect and then ... it happened... Snack bar shut-ran into grille and asked what was quick...she suggested salads?... I asked if I could just grab a hot dog....she said shouldn’t take too long -ordered 3 hot dogs. Bartender looked at me like I was crazy (Hot dogs at a golf course...I know ...crazy.) I ordered them up. It took 15 minutes . And then ... “The Bill”...drumroll. $37.70!!!!!!! WOW! - I asked is this my bill ?... she said “They’re big hot dogs”....She looked at me like I was crazy as I paid the bill and even left a tip on top of the mandatory 18%. A patron came up as I exited and said “I live around here and I hate that they gouge visitors like that-hopefully it’s the best hot dog ever” We raced through 3-4 more holes before sunset . It was a spectacular place and we enjoyed it all... but the moral of the story is order at snack shop or pack snacks unless $12 hotdogs are ok with you ! Again- Great golf facility....pack your food .

Great Course

Friendly staff, great course - very playable for all levels yet still challenging. Caught up with the group in front of us on hole 5 and then were waiting on every hole; however, we still finished under pace so can't complain about that. Nice practice facility as well. Will definitely play again

Disappointed

I cannot say this is a bad course. The conditions were excellent and the putting surfaces the best I’ve seen in the last 30 courses I’ve played this winter.
The problem for me seemed to be the factory golf. First I wrote a question to the staff from their website without an answer. Waited 7 days then called the pro shop who transferred me to the golf director. Correction : his voicemail. Left a message that also was never answered

The day of play we came back to the clubhouse from the warm up range to get reprimanded for using the wrong path. After tee off on the 3rd tee the ranger cruised in and without any discussion told us we should keep up with the group in front of us. When I said “you do know we started 25 minutes after them” he looked at me and drove away. The whole experience felt like get er done and go away

As I said the course was fine if a little boring. The Hills might be more interesting and maybe the mediocre service was only one bad day I guess I was just hoping/expecting the logo of LPGA would make for a higher standard

Boring

Course in playable with most challenges ( bunkers and water) out of play if you have a modicum of control. The huge challenge is the greens, with a lot of subtle undulations.

GREAT Course

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the round. Pace of play was < 4 hours. It was in excellent shape this early in the season. Quick greens. Played the white tees and found it a challenge (play 15.5 index). Will play again, before we head back North in April.

Excellent course with plenty of tees for all abilities. Was a little wet in places and bunkers in poor condition due to the downpours but did not detract from the excellent layout and overall condition

Love This Course

Really love this course. It was a bit "mushy" due to recent heavy rainfall and "cart-path only," but still a nice round. The greens are "true," making putting a serious challenge. Can't wait to play this one again again-worth the hour drive!

Solid Course Run Professionally

Don't get up to play LPGA very often but always look forward to it when I do. From the time you drop your bag until the time you put it back in the trunk the experience is first class. Starter got me out as a single 45 mins ahead of time and course was in fabulous shape. On a busy day pace of play was great, getting done in about 3 1/2 hrs. Got a very good price on GN and had an enjoyable day. Not a bad post Christmas present!

Perfect day for golf.

Weather was great, about 30% overcast. Pace of play was very good.. The only complaint was that the starter allowed the joining twosome to start before the specified t-time so we had to join them on the second tee and at the end of the round fo back to the first tee to complete 18 holes of golf.
Course was in very good condition especially for the amount of traffic the course gets each week.
I'll be back!
