Good course
I got the hot deal and was able to play the course for $23 which was definitely good quality for the price!
Great value
Fun course with challenging elevation changes and great scenery. Very short 9 hole layout which you play twice using different flags and T boxes. Course is in much better shape tha a year ago, but still very slow greens. Best to play lift clean and place as mud is on ball after nearly every shot.

Golf in the cool pines
Cool and enjoyable compared to the heat of the desert . Fairly easy course if you stay in the middle but trees are not forgiving.

No better summer course!
When it’s hot and in the mid-90s in the Tularosa basin, it’s in the 70s in Cloudcroft. Beautiful golf conditions!

Mountain Course, of Course!
The Lodge course is very beautiful as far as the setting in the mountains and huge pine trees. Nine hole course that has several holes going up the hills or down to a green below. It was a lot of fun to play this course, but just remember that it is cart path only on every hole.
Always fun
The course has had a bad season of weather and it shows. It's a fun course with friends or family.
Course conditions are terrible
Course conditions are terrible. I have played it Cloudcroft once or twice a year for about six years. The course is in worse shape than I have ever seen it before. The fairways look more like a rough and appeared not to be mowed. The greens are so slow and scarred that they are very hard to put on. Please fix your beautiful course and restore it to her usual condition!

The course needs help.
I played this course year before last loved it it ranked up there with other 18 hole courses in the area. But this year it is not up to its potential. Needs a little tender loving care. Could come back but I don’t see it this year.
Dissapointed
Lack of rain and winter snow changed lush, fun course into a barren, brown mess. We usually love to play but feel it would have been proper to warn people that the course was in such horrible shape. Hopefully they'll get some rain or figure out how to correct this. It was not our usual fun time at Cloudcroft. We paid for 18 but only played 9.
Special place
Course is my all time favorite(and I have played Pebble Beach). It’s staff is always friendly and helpful. The greens need some warm weather and the whole southwest needs rain, but I can’t wait to play the Lodge course again.
Funky, old mountain course
Terrible condition and a rather silly layout, even for a mountain course.
Great golf course in the forest
My wife and I enjoyed playing this golf course. It's isolated and serene. Pace of play is mellow and allows you to take in the forest and relax.
Saturday golf
We arrived an hour before our tee time but asked if we might be able to go off early. They said as soon as there was an opening tee off. The first few holes were slow but then we joined up with the two-some in front of us. The rest of the round seemed faster and more fun. It's a fun course,easier than some but interesting. We'll be back.
Gorgeous Golf Course
Beautiful place and very friendly and helpful staff! Only drawback was it was very hilly and it was cart path Only. Makes a tough 18 if you have a lil age on you plus your at around 9000 feet. But will definitely play it again!!!
Golf in the Mountains
Great vista's. The course was in excellent condition. Tee times were very good. All around great experience.
