Indain Creek Lakes
Played on Sunday @ 10 am. Finished round in 4 hours.
Course was in good condition. Greens were in good shape. Only complaint was the poor condition of bunkers. They are mostly dirt and not the white sand shown in promotional posters . GPS in the carts was very useful with all the water that comes into play.
Got a great Hot Deal rate.
I will be back in 2015.
Poor management
They didn't even have me on the right course so they made me pay the extra $50 instead of honoring the golf now deal. So I ended up paying way more then I should've. I am not happy at all
Fun and challenging
the course is challenging but not unfair. I'm not fond of holes 7 and 8. The course was in good condition and the greens were very fast. I will play this course again soon.
Good course but takes 4:45-5 hours
Sorry to give a bad review it just takes your hole day up, Played 3 Saturday's this year. Each time we waited every shot, every hole every round. Started 25 minutes past tee time, One group played 5 although they waited every shot also. This was the creek course, the rational from course is golf now, eagle card discounts bring many golfers out. Tee times have always been full and were 9 minutes apart, not sure what that has to do with it. Tee time to finish 5 hrs.
Not a bad Course, Worst carts ever!
I don't usually write reviews, and wasn't going to until I got an e-mail asking for one. Overall, the course is a nice one and challenging. BUT, the Golf carts are HORRIBLE! Gas carts. I could have out walked my cart if I walked at a brisk pace. My dad and I could not help but laugh after we got over the fact it was SO SLOW! I will not play this course again because of the carts. You know there is a problem when each cart at the facility has a tow bar pre installed on each and every cart. We even saw the staff tow a cart out to a group, and tow the "bad cart" back. That's great that they do that, but it shouldn't even be a point. Nobody should have to go through that when paying $40 and likely another $18 for the cart unless they booked through golf now.
Water, water everywhere.
The two major challenging features of this Lakes course is the water and the trees. If you stay on fairway, you'll do fine. If you execute a misplaced drive, you may have trouble making par or even bogey. The only other thing you'll have to contend with are the fast and undulating greens. You'll need to adjust to the greens quickly in order to keep making frequent three putts. I enjoyed the course and will probably play it again.
Use your Marshalls
Great course, great condition, great staff. Poor pace of play. We had to ask a foursome of beginners to keep up the pace as we were three deep on the tee boxes. Marshalls were out but not doing anything about it.
5 1\2 hours to play is too long.
Great challenging course
Course is in great shape. Nice layout with very difficult greens. Need to be accurate off the tee and use some strategic shots on some holes. Really good test of your overall game.
Things are slipping,
Course is a good track. Only complaint is that they are not taking care of their traps. Clearly had not been raked. Also, driving range was mats only,
Shot players course
I could say anything here, good or bad, all that mattered is that nothing is better than being on a golf course
Mud pit - - lakes course
So I was reminded why i never play indian creek lakes course. Tbe fairways are rough and bumpy and often hard pan. Anything off the faiway is definitely a mud pit and any green parking spot is also a mud pit. This is after more than a week with no rain. It is worse the days after rain.
Bring a back brace
The only positive thing I can say about this golf course is that they make a great hot dog. The course itself is horrible. We could barely keep the golf clubs in the back of the cart because the fairways and cart paths are littered with bumps and potholes. The course does not appear to be maintained at all.
Good place to play.
I played with my two sons. This was our first time to play this course.
We had a great time. The course was in very good shape and the staff was completely friendly and accommodating.
Great 18
Everything you expect from a very nice 18 hole course. Course in great shape from tee boxes to greens and the GPS/scoring worked well as it should. I've often times been to other courses where they were out of divot sand in the carts/holes, no solution in the ball cleaner or even water coolers. But not Indian Creek. They do a good job staying proactive on maintenance. And the cart girls are well stocked.
Needs some work in the fairways, but has descent greens.
I played the Creeks a while back, and I remember it being in better condition than the Lakes. This course needs some work, there are issues all over, particularly the fairways. Someone or something is digging holes little holes in the fairway....Not a result from plugging the grass to promote aeration....this was sporadic dirt clumps in the fairway that effected tee shot distances and sometimes ball lie, not to mention it was a major eye sore...The cart was extremely slow, walking would have been faster...The greens were quick, and rolled true. Lots of subtle hard to see breaks, made putting challenging. If I would play again, it would be The Creeks, not The Lakes.
Good course but 5 hours round
Course is somewhat difficult with waters etc. Well maintain. Pace of play of very slow due to some golfers hitting from multiple tees. Marshal was not very effective on controlling those situation.
Playing in the mud
This course has a wonderful layout with an excellent staff. However, we played 18 holes in absolute mud. I don't understand how we can be in a sever drought in the area, and this course is soaking wet. DO NOT play this course in nice shoes/clothes, as they will be severely muddy. I feel like they owe me a shoes shine at the minimum for putting up with this. The middle of the fairway, the areas surrounding the green and other random areas were soaked. The rough was unplayable. I love this game and can tolerate quite a bit, but this was ridiculous.
great cour in terrible shape
try watering the fairways. all of the tee boxes are horrible. cant find a level stance. bunkers are horrible. could be a very nice course if taken care of propely
Love the course, prepare for SLOW play though!!
Caught GN deal and played Creek Course (my 3rd time). Was paired with other singles to make a foursome which was great. However, the round took close to five hours - mainly due to clow play. Specifically high handicappers with absolutely NO BUSINESS playing from the tips!!! Course rep drove around to apologize but apparently didn't admonish the slow players. Course conditions were average, greens were especially fun, and staff customer service was excellent!! Will definitely visit again b/c course is fairly challenging, However, I probably won't play again on weekends!!
