Stay away from BC at least till summer
I called a day before to make tee time. No answer, but left message on tee time requested and even though they said they'd call to confirm, they never did. Nevertheless, time was reserved. After many weeks of no rain, course was not winter-muddy as you will usually find in winter months, but it was either too dry in spots, or too wet in others. Not well-maintained. We played a lot over the last spring/summer/fall months, and it was in decent shape, good enough for the fee that we pay. Not worth the drive there now. Hopefully, it will play better during the summer months, but I'd stay away for now. And, of course, the mess around the bridge closure between 10 and 11 that changes Hole 12 shows no sign of being repaired. Shoddy operation.
Great hot deal value! Course leaves a lot to be desired, including a “bridge out” on the back nine that requires a long detour and shortens a Par 5 to a Par 3. But the redwood scenery is spectacular, and, for the money, you can’t beat it.
Very layed back
I enjoyed playing with my 14 year old grandson. No pressure. It was great.
Cart path needs some attention.
Hello, dkreidl. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the condition of the cart path. Your feedback is important to us, and we are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Boulder Creek Golf & Country Club. We hope to see you again soon.
Dead Golf Carts
The first 12 holes were great. Halfway through the 13th hole, the cart just died. We had to walk the rest of the course, which was not that big of a deal, but we had heard that around 12 other groups had the same issue with their carts running out of power throughout the day. The Marshall who saw our cart run out of power said to go ask for a refund, but the pro shop people were gone when we finished around 3.
Conditions on the course were pretty muddy, but the weather was nice. Would go back if we were guaranteed a cart that ran all day.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave Boulder Creek Golf & Country Club a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Great value...great time!
Just played Boulder Creek with my wife and friends for my wife’s birthday. Not many other players on the course mid-day on a Tuesday. We booked a Golfpass “hot deal” so it was a great value!
Great course condition!
Course was in great condition!we tee off early and never slowed at all! Greens are in great condition and helped me to score well! Bridge was out so little detour so one par 5 is a par three but overall fun course!
Not playing well now
We are locals and play here pretty regularly, once or twice a month. Up till this last time, the course was playing pretty good, but now it is beaten up. Even though the ground was damp, it was rock solid and made it difficult to hit off of. In addition, the greens played very fast and threw us off from playing there previously. We've really enjoyed playing this course, but the conditions are just bad right now, and until the course conditions are improved, and perhaps that won't be until after the winter rains, we won't be returning.
Hello, Scott6734816. Thank you for reviewing the course. Your feedback about the course is important to us. With the recent rain we are working to get everything up to par. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Boulder Creek Golf & Country Club. We hope to see you again soon.
short course, but the surrounding redwoods add to some great views. narrow fairways offer short game challenges, and at time needle thread drives.
Course is battered from summer play, but the crews keep working on it. Cart paths still dangerous!
The place needs attention
The cart paths are terrible the bridge between holes 10 and11 is being worked on so foot traffic only not carts. The gophers are tearing up the place. Today was windy so redwood needle was covering the greens. Maintenance is not very good. I used to like this place but not anymore

I've been playing here for a few years. Its always in great shape, every hole could be a post card. One of my favorite golf courses. Can't wait to play again.
Tiny course, very challenging. Due to compact size, house nearby so somehow you have pressure not hitting the house.
Great for working on accuracy!
I hit shirt but accurate so I LOVED this course! My husband & brother can’t hit their drivers but said it was perfect to get to know their irons again! Sooo it was GREAT for both types of players.
We had a fun day. Like everyone says the fairways are for the most part pretty narrow. During the summer months it’s a good course! I like the warm weather up there and it’s a pretty easy drive from Santa Cruz. The course is short so it’s a good tuneup for me. A driving range would be real nice! Overall I like the course.
Great Course in the Santa Cruz mountains
I love this course, it’s laid back and relaxing. Had a great time with my buddies and the staff is excellent. I’d like the restaurant to open for breakfast but that’s the only thing I would change.
