Mather Golf Course

The greens had been recently punched, but healing. For a Saturday the pace of play was acceptable. This is an old course and therefore some renovations would certainly be beneficial.

Very friendly course, from the staff to the course, and the grill.
Really fun, and the fairways are awesome!

With the exception of the punched greens, the course was in “good” condition. This is an old course in need of renovation for the price. It is fun, has long par 4s that make it challenging. The layout is “good”

Needs some work to recover from a rough winter.
Pace of play was terrible for this round.

I like to course I just wish they would’ve picked up the lawn after they mowed it

The golf now site said airification alert, but did not say the back nine was colsed. So they basically sold 18 holes with playing the front nine twice!!

Course was very muddy. But this is not Mathers fault, rather Mother Nature. Greens were rolling ok. I will say the tee boxes are not great. During winter you’d expect work to be done, but we will soon be hitn sunny days and the tee boxes…yikes. I’d recommend the course to a friend when the fairways dry out and the tee boxes are recovered, but as of now I wouldn’t. Staff is always great. Pace of play can be hit and miss, but the last couple times I’ve played here it’s been around 4 hrs.

I mistakenly assumed that the prices had gone up at the course since I last played, so I booked through golfnow. Checking in at the Pro Shop, I asked what the rate was for my tee time slot if I had just walked in, and it was the same price that I paid through thie golfnow site.
