Beginners &a Short Game Practice
I was looking for a course where I could bring my 9-year-old who is just learning to play on a course. This was an excellent choice due to its shorter yardage and wide fairways. It was still challenging enough for me though with a few water hazards and bunkers. I was definitely able to practice my short game. Course was well taken care of and the staff was friendly. Pace of play was good. Excellent value compared to other courses in the area. We will be back!
Great golf outing
This is a great course to practice your short game, there's a very few par 4 and the longest is slightly over 300 yards, the pace is great and the course in is great condition.
Great value - practice most of your shots
Nice layout
Great value
Decent pace
Great practice for longer course
South/North @ Oaks North
Friendly people, always in good to excellent condition, always a challenge - we'll keep going back. Members of JC Golf enjoy a price advantage and get to play lots of other courses at a good value.
Oaks North always fun
I grew up learning to play golf at Oaks North and just played went back and played my first round there after 15 years and it is exactly how I remembered. Hasn't really changed except for due to the drought some of the water hazards are gone, but still the same fun short executive course. Not too many long holes, but there are a couple you can bust out the driver, mostly par 3's with a couple par 4's. It is always in great shape well taken care of, and great course to go to if you want to work on your short irons, chips, and putting. I played South and East courses, pace of the play was great got done with 18 in about 2 hours. I think it helps they have 3, 9 hole courses to play North, East, and South makes pace of play faster able to spread out the groups. Oaks North is always a fun course to play if you are short on time and want to get a quick 18 in at a reasonable price.
Fun day
For a par 3 style layout this was a fun course to work on your irons. Definitely a course a would play again.. Nice one to get out and walk
Great Executive Course
Wonderful setting, great opportunity to work on my short game. The greens were in excellent conditions, the only negative was the tee boxes, they were a mess. Overall I would say you would be hard pressed to find a better course for $17 on a Saturday afternoon.
Course in great shape,greens too.
Good people at the course, always ready to help.
Mid day allot quicker pace than early morning.
Course is always nice and greens in great shape.
Pleasant surprise!
Great course for the money! Drove by it many times on Pomerado Road and always wanted to play it.
Always a good round
Great place for beginners and experienced golfer. You'll use every club in your bag. Conditions are always great. Staff is nice. Not super long but longer than a typical executive par 3 like Pine Glen.

Great course to practice and play
Found Oaks North. It has friendly staff,
convenient snack bar and course that
is in reasonable shape. Sprinkler system probably
needs work since their were a few soggy spots
in a dry climate mid day. The area is lovely and
the course had it good parts and not as good.
Back nine was my favorite scenically as well as layout.
They have 27 holes to play. Wished I had time for the 3rd nine. Nice destination public course.
Practice areas available. Very pleasant experience
This course is a keeper...
A good par 3 course that requires that you use most of the clubs in your bag. Drivable par 4s, par 3's at 185 & 210 yds (i.e. not short at all), greens roll fairly well, and it's in good shape.
Oaks north (South & North Courses)
The Golf Course is in beautiful shape. It's a nice but slightly hard walk for 18 holes. We started early so the weather was perfect.
twilight
its a great value for twilight. If you want to work on your short and intermediate game, its good for you.
Great greens
Nice variety of shots required. Test of new putter greens won. But great fun walking.
Great time playing
I highly recommend this course great condition. The pace was very good.
