South at Admiral Baker Golf Course

I paid $48 MORE than the advertised green fee PLUS the $5 GolfNow convenience fee by booking this course online!! DO NOT book online. Call the course. Or better yet play somewhere else. Apparently this course does not know it is 2021 and golfers expect the convenience of online booking. Paying 38% plus premium for the option is RIDICULOUS.
I nicely pointed out my frustration to the guys at the pro shop and their lack of understanding and disregard further escalated my frustration. Their response to my inquiry as to whether they were aware of the rate disparity was to go on the aggressive. It’s one thing to not be able to resolve the situation to the customer satisfaction. It is quite another to further escalate the problem.
Needless to say I’ll take my golf business elsewhere.
And while GolfNow provided a service for the clearly states $5 fee, I will likely never book through this app again thinking that I could be playing large premiums to the service.

Courses on golf now typically let you know when the greens are punched. It did not at admiral baker. Just a heads up, they should probably get that sorted out.

Fairways are in horrible condition. Greens were good & the only good thing about the course. The guy behind the counter was a jerk & didn’t honor an online price that the guy I called agreed to.

We had a 4some today and the weather was somewhat windy but great because we had to play different shots. There were a few brown areas and mud and the bunkers needs attention! They were like hitting off the cart path. Overall, we had great time golfing and we would come back again. Oh, we all did well golfing.

Paid $75 for what was a $50 course … COVID Golf. Nice straight forward course. Greens In Good shape. Fairways not in good shape. Lots of shenanigans going with other players hitting into you, very slow play and playing in your fairway… a lot. But such is golf. Will come back if price is reasonable in the future.

First time playing South Course. We found it difficult to get around and were unsure several times where to go to find the next tee. Greens were in rough shape. Course layout was awkward.

Enjoyed playing the course but didn’t enjoy waiting 5-10 minutes on the majority of the holes. Sometimes two groups were backed up waiting for the tee box. It was impossible to get a rhythm. Played on a Wednesday around 1015.

Fairways on the south are a bit sparse, but greens were in pretty good shape. Pace was awesome as there was no one in front or behind us. Lots of fun!! Price was right.

The South course ground was hard and bereft of grass. Not much more to say then I would never play there again.

First time at baker south in a while. The course is in terrible shape for the huge cost. The entire 4some was disappointed and would not recommend the south course.

Decent course for the money, south course is more open and forgiving but fairways aren’t maintained the best; Lots of dead grass and dirt patches on the fairways. Overall a fun course to play but just not the nicest.

Fairways were some of the worst I’ve seen. Huge dirt patches everywhere and a pretty rude starter. Should be $10 for the round for what you get. Disappointed.

We had fun n our round. We were partnered with two slow players and it was stressful to stay on pace. Course was fun and challenging.
