The Country Club at Soboba Springs

Greens, tee boxes and fairways are in really good to exceptional condition for the most part and there are only a couple exceptions. The sand traps have exquisite beach type sand. Some of the best I've seen without paying $125+. The only reasons I don't give it 5 stars in every category are because even though they did a great job of designing an interesting and well maintained course it's hard to overlook the fact that it's on a fairly boring flat piece of ground. They did a great design considering that but it still makes for a few of the holes having a mundane municipal feel. Also, I was in the traps about 6 times. Though the sand quality was superb, several had been watered so much that the wet sand was difficult to judge for depth and force of a swing. Just too heavy. Overall, one of the best maintained courses I've played this year.

For the second straight time, there was a semipro tournament. Last time, we had to play the front nine twice because every group tried to imitate PGA tour players especially on the greens.

This time, we played both nines but it was very slow and had to quit after 15 holes to meet the cart return deadline (obviously, the tournament did not have this restriction).

Because it’s so expensive even with a Hot Deal, it’s hard to play in less than six hours with a tournament ahead of us. We quit after #15 after five plus hours!

Beautiful course but unplayable with a tournament.

One of the better bargains around if you consider course quality for the price!

Course is in great shape nice fairways and fast greens better bring your "A"game.

We were gifted by a friends mom a nights stay at the Soboba Hotel and casino. Which by the way the restaurants in there are top notch.........all of them. The golf course was in great shape, especially for that time of the year. More importantly the greens were in great shape which is the most important thing to me. The layout of the course was fantastic. Unfortunately for us the wind was up and predominantly was a cross wind onVirtually every hole.........not a good compo for a high flight pattern golfer! Luckily for the most part I played really well which added to the experience. Shot a 76 from the white tees. I live 4 miles from this course and will be back many times again. Enjoy!!!!!

Great golf course and layout and good fairways and putting greens

I really enjoy this course, it's a great senior value and the condition was wonderful especially for the winter. The biggest complaint I have though, is if you want to take a solo cart they charge you $25 extra. In these times, with Covid spiking, I think that is almost criminal. They are essentially forcing you to share a cart with someone outside your family. That goes against the SCGA guidelines. I know they aren't the only course charging extra for solo carts, but most other places are at the most $10. Be aware if you book this course you are probably going to have to share a cart.

Played this course today and it was awesome. The fairways and greens were in awesome shape. The layout was outstanding. The people there were super nice and very accommodating. All in all a very good value for the money. I would definitely play this course many times in the future.

Course has a good lay out. Left to right. Right to left and straight away. Greens are fair. Watch your down hill putts !
