Love Sugar
I love this course.
It’s pretty, fun and well kept.
The only challenge are the prices at the drink cart.
Great value
This is a great course to play if you’re looking to play at a good pace with some nice views. Price and value is on par and it’s a nice experience.
Great value
We drove 2 hours to find a good value with temps lower than the triple digits we had in Sacramento. It was well worth the drive, The course arranged for me to have the handicap accessible cart I required to play, and had it out and waiting for me when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course is short, but challenging and the fairways and greens were in great shape despite the heat. The only shortfall was the limited choice of food and beverage, and the wait involved to actually get our food. We will definitely visit this beautiful course again.
Oakmont small June 2021
The course was in reasonably good shape. Greens were good and fairways were ok.
Good experience
I would play here again! You would expect the cost to be a little bit more, so it’s a decent value. The Oakmont course is very walkable.
The wind, apparently, kicks up in the afternoon. The greens are still healing as of today.
The address is same as The Club at Sugarloaf— which is an executive 18 hole. GolfNow doesn’t identify Sugarloaf as an executive course. Luckily the staff got me on Oakmont - at probably the going rate
Great day!
Fun course, don’t let the yardage fool you. If you’re looking for a golf round on a Sunday afternoon to play in about 3 - 3 1/2 this is the place. Just need a few more yardage markers on the course. Looking forward to my next round here.
Sugar loaf always fun to play
Every thing was excellent, pace of play perfect 2 1/2 hr round, course was in excellent condition, Staff are always a 5 star rating, great value for money.
Sugar loaf always fun to play
A littles slow but we jumped a hole, Staff very nice, very reasonable.
Oakmont small April 2021
The course was is very good condition. The pace of play was slower than I expected or dealt with in the past.
Sugar loaf always fun to play
Fun round excellent pace, great conditions, Staff always friendly
Good local executive course
A lot of executive courses are so short that you only need a few clubs but this one has some longer holes that demand some larger clubs unless you are a long hitter. The rough is mowed a little longer on this course than on the Valley of the Moon course that makes landing you ball in the fairway more impostant.
