Good speed on greens
The rough was tough
lpga thumbs up
love both courses at lpga
Hills and jones both in excellent condition
for the money I rather drive the 25 miles and play here instead of at palm coast 4 min from my house for more money
Played from the tips. Requires you to place some of your tee shots. Greens were quick and true. Will definitely play it next time I'm in Daytona.
Always a Fair Test
The Hills course is always a treat to play because of the challenging layout and great condition. I would recommend any golfer to plsy this course. Think twice in selecting your tee box.
Had a chance to get back into Golf in grand style by playing the Hills Course at LPGA, Perfect conditions and fast play. Did not wait at one hole. I am hooked on this kind of quality and value.
Fast greens and beautiful scenery
The course was in great shape and greens were fast. There are many challenging holes with beautiful ponds and well maintained grounds. It was very hot and a ranger brought us ice cold towels to help cool us down. They have adequate water fountains and rest rooms. I liked the layout and most holes had shade near the tee boxes.
Not bad save for the pace of play
I was a single ball but had to join another single ball on hole 11 to make 2 balls. We had a. Very slow 4- ball just ahead of us who didn’t have the courtesy to pass us through. The pro shop should try to order games in a way that the course will play fast.
From tee box to green this is by far the best public course in Volusia County....perfectly maintained! The rough is cut short but is thick, so stay in the short grass!
Challenging golf course for the first timer, great Layout and scenery, greens and fairways in top condition. Highly recommended.
Wet, but it dried out by the back nine.
This course played pretty tough as the fairways are all tightly guarded by woods and water and each green is well protected with other obstacles. Today the play was cart path only and it had recently been aerated. I know these are musts in the summer in Florida. This course penalized errant shots a little more than usual today with all the water and long grass. Fairways shots that were hit fat got mud everywhere and grabbed the clubface. Beautiful course. Low and wet. But still a great value at the discounted rate. It’s soggy.
the golf course was in good shape but the recent rain increase the difficulty level
we played from the white tees and some tee offs were to far from the fairways
not a course for short hitting golfers but one for long hitters especially with wet fairways
the trip from the clubhouse to the course was poorly indicated and we got loss on the way back especialy
The course is an excellent challenge to every level of golfer played from the correct tees. The course was in normal condition for a summer in Florida. Clubhouse restroom was dirty and the dispenser was broken. Staff members were eager to please and very helpful and friendly. Hot weather but the cart girl was pleasant in giving us ice to help us keep cool. The ranger had iced towels and they were greatly appreciated.
First time playing the hills course and I’ll defineltey be back. The course was in great condition and the staff was very friendly.
