Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

C’mon Man!
Golf Now let me book a closed course.
Booked and paid for it three days in advance and received a cancellation notice 30 mins prior to tee time after driving 2 hours to get there.
COURSE IS CLOSED. GIVE ME A REFUND
This course needs to be removed from Golf Now. It is closed. DO NOT BOOK. THE TEE TIMES ARE FAKE!

This course is closed down. I reserved on Golf Now and when I got there, there were 10 people that did the same thing. The Pro Shop is closed and nobody is around.
Sure has gone downhill
Sure has gone downhill.
Years ago, I went every year to the golf tournament did Jackie Gleason held at Inverrary. The course was beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. That, unfortunately, is no longer the case.
The traps were beautifully maintained, the greens were excellent, but the rest of the course was abysmal. It was crabgrass everywhere on and off the fairway.
Such a disappointment.
Staff making a big effort at distancing and disinfecting
Kudos to the staff for ensuring disinfecting and providing distancing. The course was in good shape and the greens are holding well.
East coarse
Coarse has a great layout but greens and traps need work
Driving range had very little grass to hit from
Played here in previous yrs was in much better conditions

I wish the course ownership would put an end to the rumors of an impending sale/closure...one way or another. And if it is remaining open, put some money into it
Near Extinction
Inverrary used to be à much nicer course to play. This course needs à serious refresher and à lot of maintenance. The greens are fast and roll true. Fairways are very Hard and dry and the rough around the greens is full of weed. The staff at the pro at the pro shop have forgotten the meaning of customer service. Very disappointed with our experience today.
The course is challenging for sure. It’s definitely run down from the clubhouse to the course but fun to play — maybe it’s the history this place holds...I’d play it again.
Today’s Review
My overall rating is poor! The tee boxes & sand traps where the best part of this course. The fairways are in need of WORK. They are very bad. The greens are hard, have crab grass growing on most of them and I would rate them lower than a public course.
Our round of golf today was truly not enjoyable.
Nice layout for historic course
Facilities are in need of updating and better maintenance-the course was lacking grass in the fairway and on the greens. Maintains its historic charm and challenging layout. Friendly staff and pace of play was good. Would play this again only on a hot deal
Nice greens, all else in disrepair
The greens rolled very nice and the staff was helpful. There was no grass on driving range, on course restrooms out of order, doors falling off out buildings, and trash debris in most water features. We would not return to this course.
Crazy fast greens
It was hard to judge the speed of the greens as they were extremely fast. Overall the course was in decent shape and the staff were great.
