Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Great but tricky greens
Course was a little shabby but the layout and greens were good!
Good Day
Our round was good , no slow downs , good rate .
This coarse like most older clubs need to repair
their bathrooms. Also, a proper drink/food cart is
recommended. Not sure I want to purchase anything
from a cooler?
Nice layout, not well maintained!
The tee boxes were all beat up, slanted and sloped. Many of the fairways had bare spots (no grass). Most of the greens were good, but a few also had dead or dying grass. They have a second course. They should take this one off line for maintenance.
Needs repair !
We had a good round but had we known there was no bathroom we would not have played.
Very odd that they offer no bathroom or water until the 17 th hole. Yes we were when we
paid for our round but what can you do then hope for the best? Terrible! At least install some
temporary washrooms.
Won’t book again for awhile.
What’s up with the Bartender?
I play here all the time and write reviews about the course often. As usual the greens were in great shape and rolling up to normal inverrary speed. This review is about how bad the male bartender is. He’s usually there on the weekend and always in a bad mood. The guy is plain rude. I have given him the benefit of the doubt but this is the 4th time and he is always in a bad mood and gives terrible service. Tees and fairways were in there ok shape as usual and the pace sucked today, it was really busy, but we had 3 groups per hole 14/18 which made it very hard to stay in rhythm.
Know it’s an old Gem. Can only hope that money available to keep this Gem open as it would be a sin to build Condos on it
Fun course
We played at noon. Pace of play was good. We played in 3.5 hours. Waited on most holes, but things moved right along. Greens were nice, and pretty quick. Nice layout, and reasonably priced for January. It’s an older course, but we had a lot of fun. I would play it again.
