"The Babe"
Got 18 in before the rains came and they still rank right up there with some of the Orlando high end course for the best greens. Great pace of play....even with three walkers ahead of us. Staff as always very friendly and accommodating. The price was definitely right and the greens while a bit slow ran true from 1 through 18. Always a treat to play......
Greens are being replaced
The greens on the front nine are being replaced. You have to play the back nine twice. I love the place but will have to wait until it’s finished before going back.
Course is not at its best..
Warning - Starting May 6th 2024 the entire front 9 will be closed for repairs.
The course is always a nice one to play, but the weather in Florida can take it's toll quickly. This seems to be the case right now. Front 9 was in terrible shape, tee boxes and greens. Back 9 not as bad, but still needs some work and help from mother nature i.e. rain.
I did save a couple balls from going in the water, since a few of the ponds have been drained and emptied.
I will play here again in the future, but once it's back in shape.
Staff and started were extremely nice and courteous. That's where it starts and ends for me. Course wasn't in good condition at all. Greens were baaaaad and burned. Even the practice putting green was in vad shape!! Fairways barely had good grass to hit off of. Course layout was challenging and you have to choose your shots. That was nice! Overall I give this course a C- because of the conditions of the greens and fairways. Will not be back unless they fix. Not worth the money for me.
Course conditions
I like this golf course. However, today the course was in the worst shape I have ever seen it. I just played there 2 months ago and everything was fine. Today the greens were burnt up and it appeared that no one was watering them. I stopped at the turn and no sandwiches were pre-made. Everything had to be made there on the spot. It took 20 minutes which is unacceptable. There was a sign on the door that said the front nine will be closed for repairs on MAY 6. Golf now should have been advised of of this and not charged full price. I felt ripped off. Not sure if will keep my account. Very disappointed
Love the course
I always enjoy playing at Babe’s. Course is in great condition. I would recommend playing here.

Slow Greens, no grass on fairways
Initially, I enjoyed this course. Over the past weeks, course conditions have deteriorated. Greens were very slow. Fairways and around greens, lack of grass. May be a minute before returning to play until course improves.
Horrible conditions tee to green/weeed/brown
conditions are horrendous. scarce grass on tees, fairways, and greens.
Decent course, some holes be on a look out
Decent course everyone working there were great though some holes yiu will have to be very aware as you could be hit by balls flying into you.
Rough condition
Short course with some fun holes. Not in real good condition.
Easter is the 2nd best Sunday to play golf
The pace of play was excellent at under 4 hours, thanks to Easter. The course wasn't in the best of shape, and the greens were a bit inconsistent, but for the money, I wasn't expecting pristine conditions. The course is fairly short, and I got paired up with some folks who wanted to play the white tees. At about 5800 yards, it's short course, even for a par 70. Putts rolled well, but the greens were sometimes fast, and other times a bit slow.
Standard Municipal Course
Interesting layout and a score able course.
Starter let a couple of regulars out after us that mucked up pace of play for the first 3/4 groups.
Greens were decent pace but in rough condition and the rest of the course pretty much the same. I will likely not go back.
Good day for a round
The fairways were nice but the 1st cut and behind was not good. The course layout was nice and staff members were friendly and cheerful. Great course for beginners and middle of the road players.
“The Babe”
Green’s quite fast, pace of place great and personnel working there are fantastic
Fun course!
We had a great time playing this course. Course is in fairly good shape considering winter and drought conditions! We will be back!
