Rogers Park Golf Course

Used golf now and was treated differently because I prepaid!! I like to show up early to golf so I can warm up and get loose as to not hurt myself. They would not check me in until 30 minutes to Tee time.
Not the end of the world just never happened before at any course!

Good course, the pace was a little slow but the staff was very friendly. I would recommend it. Also the 9 hole par 3 course is open now.

The first tee was a little backed up but given the time of year I expected that. Once we started the pace was not bad. Still had to wait allot but got around in under 4.5 hours. I'll take that on a Sunday during peak season. Greens at decent. There is grass in the fairways. Tee boxes need work.

This course is fun, but I only go here because there is a grass range. The pace of play was really bad. Finished 9 in just under 3 hours. About 10 people backed up on first whole. Literally 3 groups on the same hole. Course has potential

Played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours course was in good shape for a public course Pace of play it was good. Tee boxes were a little chewed up, but not bad.
My playing partner and I have played all three Tampa public courses this year and I would probably write this one the best

Had a good round. Greens were very consistent as far as speed. Always come here when I visit the Tampa area.

Fairways and greens were really good. Pace of play was perfect. Staff is always friendly

Well maintained. Great course, also has a fun 9 hole par3 course for a good warm up.

Had to get a rain check because it was over booked people waiting in line for carts and another line on the first tee. Would of been a minimum hour after our scheduled tee time before we hit our first shot

My title says it all. Played on a Wednesday @ 10:30. Just over 4 hours for 18 holes.

The course layout and length are actually pretty good.

Tee boxes were very poor.
Inconsistent greens, including areas of same green. At least they had grass even though it was cut unevenly on the same green. FML
Fairways are ok, but they are so hard that my irons were bouncing off them.
Sand traps were better than other courses.
Staff was friendly.
Practice Range needs a lot of work (they’re building a new facility.)
Not sure I’d play it again, at least wait until it rains to soften the fairways. Hard to chip off 1/8” of grass on top of dry dirt.

Good value for the money. Moves slowly, but not as bad as other courses in the area during the tourist season. Greens were in bad condition, but the fairways weren’t horrendous for the price point. Suitable for beginners-intermediates that are close by.
