Nice course close to Burlington
Overall a good course. Fairly priced, and a good layout. Can play long at 6800. Played 6400 today because of huge amount of rain Vermont has gotten in last week. Everything was soaked, will definitely come back when it drys out. Never played before because of the negative reviews I've seen but I was very pleasantly surprised. Longer than some of the courses in the area. Definitely worth a trip if you don't want to venture too far from Burlington. Greens seemed like they could be quick and true, today they were saturated and slow. Fairways in good shape.
Sadly I believe they are reducing it to 9 holes next year due to housing development.
kwiniaska disappointed
Tee boxes are pasture like. Greens are slow and shaggy......almost impossible to get ball to the hole. Weeds on tee boxes. Traps not maintained. Hadn't played here in years , payed 180 for 3 of us and it was a epic disappointment. They have over 20 scotty Cameron putters in the shop and none of them are for sale in sept. This course has evolved to a majorly epic fail. Sorry...hope they can turn it around. .it's a nice location.
Long
It was a Saturday afternoon, no groups had played for about 30 minutes. I was a single but they didn't want me to go alone until 2pm. So, another single local fella heard the conversation and said he would pair up with me in order to get us out before 2pm. Brandon was his name and it was helpful to have some local knowledge about the course, hiking trails and beer. The course is pretty straight forward, long and fair. No picture post card holes but a fun place to play. In the local area, it ranks up there with the Williston Golf Course, without the eye pleasing views. Nice practice facility too, range, putting green and a huge chipping/pitching green.
