Nice staff and players
The players and staff were very friendly, you can tell the course is a work in progress some of the boxes or completely gone, but overall fun experience,
visiting
Nice course, no food or service provided staff not to attentive. course was ok for the price paid through golf now, would not have enjoyed playing the rack rate for the condition of the course.
Nice community Course
This was the first Time I played At this course some the fairways h needed Some work butit WGS an overall good Experience ..
Nice course during good weather
The course was in good shape and the weather was nice. But the north wind was strong at times. Nice play on most holes because they are moderate to short. But several holes were really tough!
Great value
Fairways a little dry and hard. Lots of patchy spots. Overall, good value for price and great practice course
Course in great shape
Really enjoyed playing this course in excellent shape and golfer friendly
Nice Day
Quiet, easy pace; Greens were in excellent condition but cut in
a weird pattern making it very difficult to read. Couldn't make a putt! Overall, nice day. # 18 fairway pristine.
"Best Buy" Course
Prices for golf at PCC are the lowest in the area and the club offers a great value for the money. The Clubhouse has recently been renovated and the rest/bar area now serves food and drinks way above the previous standard. New staff all around the Club from Pro Shop to Food/Bev Services. The new golf professional is a refreshing change for the Club!
I was a member here for many years until I recently moved away, but it was wonderful to see all the new changes being made!
As for course conditions, they were a little sub-par. The superintendent has been around for too long and has been allowed to make too many mistakes. PCC could easily be fixed up with a grounds crew that is consistent and knows what they are doing. Of the few bad lies I found myself in, they were all very preventable with a little TLC by the outside staff.
Staff in club house
Staff kind of rude there was another group with same tee time as ours. The staff member acted like it was my fault for the mix up and wanted us to take an hour later tee time until the other group let us go first only because we knew someone in the other group
Great Value
This course provides the best bang for your buck in the area. The fairways need some work, but the tee boxes are in great shape, the greens are the best they have been for years. It's in better shape than Abita for the same price. It's comprable to Oak Knoll for way less money. For someone who is on a budget, it's my favorite course to play, hands down.
Country club layout
Several interesting holes where local knowledge is good to have. Grass had not yet begun to grow so there were some patchy spots in fairway and tee boxes. Greens were in pretty good shape.
Great value
I hadn't played the course in a while and was very surprised at the excellent condition of the greens. The fairways were also in good condition. The front none is fairly wide open and the back nine tightens up considerably. Not a long course and very playable for all handicaps.
Good Value
Staff was fantastic. Had a great time . I will go back.
Nice course
The course is definitely worth the price it's a tight course but a challenging one big greens and tricky putts make it a fun place to play definitely will go back
Golf on a budget
This is a nice little course that gives hackers half a chance to score well (better than their average). Don't expect picturesque or championship quality but it does have medium length holes with several water and sand hazards. Worth the green fee but don't expect any thing more.
Very narrow
This course is very tight, but most holes are fairly short.
Great day of golf
Went out with friends at 10:30 am. Weather was warm, but a bit cooler than it had been. Course was in good condition, but cart path only because of previous night's rain. The course is beautiful and challenging. We had a very enjoyable round. Will be back again.
Short but narrow.
Great corse. Narrow with enogh obstacles to keep it interesting. Nice sand bunkers. Even saw a few bass swimming around my ball.
Decent course for the GolfNow price...
Pinewood is very easy to play as it is wide open. At first glance it appears to be in good condition but as one takes a closer look the bumpy greens and crab grass fairways reveal themselves. I would not recommended this course.
