Was wandering across the Mississippi countryside late Monday headed to Jackson and saw a sign for Quail Hollow Golf. Pulled off the road & teed it up at 5:45. I was done in two hours and played through a foursome on eleven & a single on seventeen. I like this place and it rolls all over BUT the greens are bad. The traps are suspect too. Several of the greens have wide patches of sand and most all have some type of weed in them. It was not poa or dallis grass. I'd give the greens three months minimum . Would not recommend now but once the greens are fixed I'd return with pleasure.
Meh
I had heard great things about this course so I decided to go play. It's about an hour from where I live but all the great things I'd heard figured it would be worth the drive. Big mistake! I had called a head of time to check the course conditions the guy on the phone told me it was in excellent shape. I asked how the greens were ( when the last time they had punched them) he told me they were in excellent shape and rolling great. The course it self is in a beautiful location the fairways were in decent shape but the greens were awful! Not just one or two all of them! It looked like some one took a shovel to them and was about to start planting trees. I was very disappointed.
Highly upset
My husband and I have played this course for 8 years and never had a problem until today. We had a scheduled tee time and when we got there was informed they don't let twosomes play on Saturday and Sunday. Never have had this problem. We work during the week and only get to play on the weekends so I guess we won't be going back there since twosomes can't play on weekends. Bad choice on your part Percy Qiun golf course.
Great course
Love playing the course. Challenging and scenic. Greens are back in shape
Nice design
Good shape.greens are the best I have seen them in 10 years
The course has a great layout.
I think the course is in the best condition it has ever been in. They had trouble with the greens a few years back, but now they are in great condition.
