North at Boulders Golf Club & Resort

About
Nestled among 12-million-year-old boulders in the scenic desert foothills near Scottsdale, Arizona, Boulders Golf Club & Resort is one of the country's most prestigious resort destinations. The North golf course at Boulders plays big brother to the South Course, and offers bentgrass and marvelous views of the Black Mountain, as the course winds through the community of Boulders. Both golf courses spring from the desert foothills and feature take-your-breath-away panoramic vistas -- among those of spectacular formations of boulders, stunning Sonora sunsets and indigenous terrain.

Golf course review
The nicest well kept course I have golfed at so far ! Excellent !
Robert Burke
Wonderfull course and the weather was perfect. The stater was informative and very helpful.
Very scenic front nine and great condition
The Boulders South course is a tale of two nines when it comes the scenic value. The front nine is pretty stunning and lives up to its name with boulders all over the course. One of the most impressive views the the first green where you will see an amphitheater of boulders behind the green. The back nine is a little more pedestrian but still somewhat scenic. The course was in incredible condition but sadly it was carry path only. The practice facility was excellent as was the pro shop and restaurant. Playing this course from the correct tees will lead to a fun round as it is fairly forgiving. Hit it where the course tells you to and you’ll have a great time.
Beautiful course views
Had great time playing with 3 Australians who were super guys, I didn’t play great but kept up pace of play and we had a wonderful day, only bad thing was the guy in the pro shop didn’t honor my golf now price, said I owed $5 or $6 more bucks not to be petty but a deals a deal , the day rate was $199 (which was overpriced) and my golf now rate was $140, when I told him I had a coupon he said $140 is the lowest we’ll go which I said that’s fine that is my golf now price, but with tax and fees golf now was 155 and change and he said no we are 160 and change . Again don’t want to sign petty but a big resort like that shouldn’t cry over $5. I spent $16 on coffee and a muffin with tip so I’m not cheap.
Boulders South
Boulders South is beautiful and is very playable for all players. Pricey but the views are amazing while playing a great layout. Definitely going back
Beautiful course
Staff expertly worked the tee sheet to accommodate an additional player and promote perfect pace of play. Front nine greens need more TLC following overseed. Several were in just fair condition.
Great Day
Great course layout with beautiful surroundings. Greens were a little slower than normal and fairways soft from overseed. But good condition overall and fun day of golf. Always enjoy this course.
Wonderful round of golf in a beautiful setting!
The outside staff delivered best customer service ever! They took great care in accommodating us with a perfect pairing as some last minute changes were required. We were very pleased with the day. Mikie in Bar and Grill provided friendly and efficient service. She wanted our order to be perfect. Food was delicious.
Great Golf course and practice facilities.
Beautiful, well manicured golf course. The practice facilities are in great shape. Perfect place to spend the day doing all things golf. The staff is professional.
Boulders like I've never seen them
Extremely scenic course. We played Front North and Front South. Seems as if it was designed so that on almost every hole you see a huge backdrop of boulders and/or homes built into them. Would give it 5 stars had it not been for the fairways which were a thin here and there. Otherwise, very nice and would certainly play again.
A beautiful walk not ruined
You won’t care about your score here as the scenery is amazing.
Awesome course
Got on for $38 through GolfNow, couldn't have asked for more. Course is in great shape, and is very friendly towards the average golfer with large fairways, but it still offers a nice challenge with picking landing spots, club selection, and tucked pins. Beautiful views with friendly staff. Would totally recommend it!
The course has a great hole layout
First I would like to compliment the staff for being helpful and friendly! GPS had very good visuals of each hole and distances. Not much role because the course had a lot of wet areas from being watered during the night but to be expected in the summer here in the Phoenix area. The greens were a little slower then I anticipated for speed but that is an easy adjustment for me. I’m an older player so teed off from the Whites. Enjoyed my round, only hit 3 shots in the desert areas ! After I had lunch at the Grill!
