Great experience
The course is coming along in great fashion. Greens were good fairways getting better, tee boxes a little long but okay. Thanks for all the work and improvements
Nice staff, older course
The staff is very friendly. The course needs better markings where the holes are. When we were on the driving range the sprinklers came on, apparently there is no way to turn them off as staff noticed we were there, this was mid day. Its a good course to play and call it a day, but remember its an older course.
Course has nice layout
Course is in pretty good condition. The greens were a little long and slow. Several spots around the course had standing water that appeared to come from sprinkler system issues.
Great you are open
Course is in good shape for just the second week after reopening. Some mosquitoes out there
Good overall
They just reopened after reseed. Cart path only. Course was in good shape. Many tee boxes were not very level. Greens were very slow & shaggy. If they can speed up the greens it would play much better. For $35 it was a good round. If asking $50-60 too many better options out there.
Fun track for the price
Saw this place was getting a lot of hate, decided to give it a go… if you play on the weekend it’s going to be a wait, I highly recommend walking it (no discount unfortunately) which will make it feel like the pace isn’t terrible, reasonably flat for easy walking.
Heard people say this is the greenest the course has ever been, and it’s not terrible at all, for what you pay, you should expect what you get. Overall a decent muni feel layout.
Worst part of this place: The greens are the worst greens I’ve played in all AZ, they are thick and you reeaallly must pound your putts, definitely don’t expect to drain any 15 footers without a miracle from god.
Good value
Greens were hairy and quite slow. Pace of play was very slow, over 5 hours, and it was quite noisy with a soccer tournament . Other than that, I love Francisco Grande!
