Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Sunday Golf
Started out with a 30 delay due to overbooking.
The back up created slow play for the first 9, and then it thinned out and pace of play picked up. Still was a 4.45 hour round.
Course is in great condition
Fairway rough are retirement homes
Essentially a beginner course, up kept as a beginner course, looks like a beginner course, if you bring beginners whom slice the ball like beginners they will hit houses on 95% of their shots and the owners will act completely shocked and as if they are ready to sue. The entire course is embedded in a community, more or less the backyards of houses so the shock is bewildering.
Pin placement was a joke!
Hole 10 pin was placed on a side of a hill! I was 10 ft from the hole and putted toward the hole and my ball went around the hole and came back to me and rolled 15’ from the hole. This happened twice.
Pace of play was terrible. Did not see a ranger on the course. You need to have someone monitoring the pace of play. Rough is mostly dirt. What happened to the grass? Fairways were in good shape as were most greens. The course just needs to TLC!
Scott and Wendy
Playing this course was a great way for us to start our winter experience in Arizona. The course was not as green as we are used to in Ontario, but it's in the desert - what do you expect. The tees were in good shape as were the greens. If you hit the fairways, for the most part they were well groomed with green grass. If you missed, there's no grass but it is still very playable.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Take your time course
This was part of a 55+ community and it showed in the pace of play. You know it's gonna be slow when the guy in the 4some in front of our 4some has an oxygen machine. The staff though was REALLY great! Pretty flat and straight course all around. won't loose a ball though which is a plus.
Pueblo again
The greens were in the best condition I have seen in a couple of years. The fairways not so much. Pretty dry and not a lot of grass. Still was a good day to be out on the golf course.
Only finished 12 holes
I was the first to go out for the day (weekday) and played the front nine quickly. At the turn there was about 50 players waiting for a tournament or special event. They must have started as a shotgun, as when I reached the 13th hole my day came to an abrupt stop. There were a foursome waiting and a foursome playing the hole. Decided to try and go around, but every hole was backed up. I still enjoy course and will play again, but will check to see if there are any special events.
Good day for golf
The course is in nice condition and the pace of play was great. The greens were fast but tolerable. I enjoyed playing Pueblo El Mirage.
Nice day for golf
The course is in nice shape. The greens are very short and fast. Overall this is a good place to play.
Good time.
My buddy and I were just a twosome and were joined with a wonderful couple from Colorado. Had a great time accept for the slow geriatric group ahead of us. Not only did they play at a snails pace but constantly violated the “CARTS >” signs and parking their carts adjacent to the green. We proceeded to jump to the hole ahead of them which of course messed up our scoring but we finished our round in an enjoyable pace.
