About
Nestled within Fountain Hills, the course at the Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a championship course with a variety of elevation changes with views canyon and mountain views. It is a desert-style course with some elevated tees and open fairways that play tight with a few doglegs. Water bunkers come into play on a few holes as well as numerous well-positioned sand bunkers. From nearly every hole on the golf course, views of the signature fountain in Fountain Hills, which is the world's tallest fountain at 550 feet, can be seen.

Lovely desert course
We will definitely be back to play this course. Very well managed, kept pace of play moving. It took us just over 4 hours to play a round and that was with no driving in the fairways due to overseed. Course is in great shape, friendly staff, beautiful views.
Love this course
I think this is one of the coolest courses in Scottsdale, especially in the summer. The first hole is my favorite opening hole on any course. They do have some hikes that feel like they're forced into a spot because they lack space, but for $65 in the summer I can forgive that. The conditions are excellent year round, and in the summer you can find a good grass spot nearby if you're in a burnt area.
My favorite thing about this course is how they use downhil AND uphill holes... so many of these courses like to put 4 par 3s that are all 50' downhil, and that's cute, but hit the green on #2 or #12 if you really think you're good at golf.
Greens are always pure, but pay attention to the valley. If it weren't for 5, 6, 7 & 8 this could be top 10 in the valley.
Sweet Litte course!
Great course for folks visiting or living in AZ. I just moved to Arizona and this course has a feel of any home course out there! Staff was cool and pace of play wasn't to bad for a weekend 1010a time. If you're 50 to 70 you will enjoy hitting clubs into the green like you did 10 years back! Enjoy and save me a birdie or 2
Time to aerate
Feel like a long hitter, fairways and greens very hard. Time to punch. Automated mowers on every hole was interesting. Layout was quite plain with few bunkers lining the fairways giving any real interest. Let the rough grow up to stop ball from running off into desert. Just two of us playing today. Pro shop and ranger were very accommodating, suggesting we tee off early to get in front of foursome. Ran around in 2 1/2 hours as a result.
Scenic Golf
Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and course layout. Great views from every hole along well manicured landscaping.
Very disappointed
I have played here quite a few times, however not since before Covit. The Golf. Arts are ridiculous far too restricted
Worth a stop
Nice course. Tougher weather conditions that day but still a good spot

Fun layout. Range needs an upgrade. Course conditions were ok, greens are in good shape.
