Kokopelli Golf Course
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

WET WET WET
The course is way to wet. Lots of dirt and mud.
The grill and service is fantastic. The only reason to go there is the food and service.
The course is showing wear and tear from a hot summer. There are cores from aberration on several holes. There is no sand in the bunkers and it is like playing off concrete.
The overall course is ok.
Prepare for the mud
First the positives: the guy at the counter was friendly even at 5:45 am. The greens were in pretty good shape. Now for the negatives: There was water on the course...all the cart paths had puddles. There was standing water on the fairways, Lots of the fairways have huge patches of dirt, so lots of mud. Expect your shoes, cart tires, and even clubs to get muddy. Finally, the bunkers are not sand. They are hard dirt with puddles in the middle. I am not sure what it would cost to actually put sand in the bunkers, but it must be more than management wants to pay.
Standing water is an issue. It’s summer so it’s expected to have some part spots, but there should be 10 ft long “lakes” just off the fairway. If you stay in the fairways this course is amazing, if you have any errant tee shots though be prepared for dirt or to take a free drop behind standing water. Also fix the bunkers, half are mud/lakes half are cement.
It’s such a great layout and amazing staff, put some more into the maintenance!
Golf now reservation was not able to be found at course when I arrived then we were kicked off the course for tournament play despite being the first tee time out.
Very nice staff. Course is in typical summer condition but still very playable. Greens were smooth and mid fast. Love playing there
Took 4 hours to play 12 holes. Waiting on every hole, Hole 14 , 3 groups on tee box. Called it a day and went home. Not the first time this has happened. No ranger in site, bummer
Bad conditions, very slow play, had a 7:10 tee time and didn't tee off till 7:40. Got finished at 12:30 so 5 hour round. And the beverage cart girl, very nice but did not see her till the 18th hole. Never gone back.
Slow at the end
Everything was finf till the last six holes. We was waiting a lot
no refreshment golf cart
the greens were in good shape although airyated. the course was way too wet for 8am tee time and we had no golf cart refreshments on Thursday. It is a challenging course but well worth the 25.00 fee
I think the best thing was the individual in the Pro Shop made me feel welcome and if there was anything that I needed to please ask. Most people take your money and move on.
The driving range is convenient, putting green is close and in excellent condition. They have a chipping green that is also close.
The course is challenging and fair. I quit after 14 holes because of a health condition, but also because it became backed up. Will go back again

The course is in good condition for this time of year. The Bunkers are the only bad part. There is little to no sand in the bunkers and they were wet and drying like cement.
Greens were the best part of this course but they weren't very good hole to hole very inconsistent some were aerated and others were not and slow probably never playing here again to many other courses to choose from that are much better and this is not my first time to play here and Everytime I ask myself why did I come here
It’s a good course for avg players(85+scoring). Bunkers are horrible. Absolutely no sand just hard ground. And only a few holes are fully geeen. I play here cause I’m used to the course layout. Price is great in summer but not much different course condition between peak season and off season. I’m a 90 score player so for me this course is good.
Course was in rough shape, lots of standing water and lots of fairways with patchy grass (hardpan).

The course was a little beaten up. The practice area was moved 15 to 20 yds ahead of actual tees. The bunkers once again were horrible. Lots of water in bunkers and the rest were rock hard with no sand. The fairways were ok, but not great. The tee box yardages were off. The Greens were the best part of the course as they were fast and challenging.
