Greenfield Lakes Golf Course
About
The executive length course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club is a shorter course but there are three sets of teeboxes for a variety of different options. There are also plenty of challenges to appeal to all players. The golf course's layout is mostly flat and relatively open and it features many difficult par 5s and also some dogleg fairways. Although there are no sand bunkers, four lakes create water hazards that come into play on half of the holes. A notably challenging hole is the par-5 18th, which has a lake protecting the green and also a double dogleg fairway. The course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club, with its nice scenery and great conditions, is an excellent place for golfers to work on their short game.

Worst course I’ve ever played
The title says it all. I like golf enough that I’m generally just happy to be playing. This is the first course I’ve ever played that I’d never play again. I wouldn’t play this course if it was free. Huge portions of the course were just missing. The water hazards looked like cesspools. Staff were nice.
The course was in pretty bad shape. Greens were mostly sand, fairways were rough.
first time playing
nice golf course as a shorter golf course, was able to take my daughter to ride along/drive... Pro shop lady Very Nice, and Starter also Very Nice, decent layout, front side fairly easy with flat greens but had to read them from all angles to judge the break, back side is across the street and has a little tougher greens to read lots of water in play but overall and nice 3 or hour round of golf
Absolutely a Fun Track
Greenfield Lakes course is challenging, yet very manageable. Course maintenance has greatly improved and their efforts promise lush playing conditions this fall and winter. The Arizona heat has beat all the Phoenix area courses up and Greenfield Lakes is no exception..in spite of the negative effects the heat has on the course grasses, the course is still very playable. Where else can you play 18 holes, use all the clubs in your bag, play with friendly people, be treated as valued guests by the staff, don’t break the bank to play and the finish your round typically in under three hours. Having played professionally, I have experienced playing beautifully manicured courses, and gave access to many fine courses in the Phoenix area. Even so, Greenfield Lakes is my favorite go to course. As I am getting older, courses seem longer. On most championship courses, I am forced to hit driver, fairway woods and long irons on almost every hole. The Greenfield Lakes course allows me to sharpen my iron play and my short game, while still presenting enough par fives and par fours to test my long game. If you love golf, don’t want to spend all day plating in the hot summer sun and still expect a golfing challenge, this course will meet or exceed your expectations..
Excellent challenge!
Great course! Beautiful condition especially during the hot summer.
Decent executive course
This course is always fun to play. Good variety on the holes. A lot of fun short par 3s. Greens and fairways are in decent condition. No sand traps is always appealing. Pace of play this day was excellent.
Worth it
Nice executive course Greens very fast but held true
Fun Golf
Always a great time, easy but challenging at the same time. Easy to get a tee time online, staff is friendly, Rangers are funny, the course was in awesome condition. I like the lighted driving range so there's always an opprtunity to hit and putt.
Executive snail course
I like Greenfield Lakes. It is a nice challenging executive course.
We were sent out as a two-some in the middle of foursomes. The Foursome ahead of us took almost 15 minutes to reach the par 4 number one green! We played smiles off the first Tee and I hit two drives (didn't know if my first drive stayed in bounds...it did). We still had to wait for the green to clear.
Unfortunately, the group ahead of us was faster and managed to keep up with the group ahead of them! And so the afternoon went. We did manage to keep the round at or a little under, 4 hours.
The cours was if pretty good shape for the amount of play it get and the greens were great!
The after golf amenities are sparse and we did not stay for the usual after round beer.
The Ranger, starter and counter staff were very friendly and helpful.
Decent course
Great course to work on your short game. Fairways are decent condition. Greens are in good condition. Pace of play was about as good as I have seen on this course. No one pushing: no waiting. Just lucky as this is not usually the case. It is excellent value at $30 plus or minus for late morning during prime time season. No complaints from me at this time.
Good for short game!
Golf course in good shape however as always, very slow pace of play!
No sandwiches, hot dogs etc available, make sure you eat before golf!
Not kept up at all
Course was about the worse course I have been on for grass conditions. No water stations out and we live in az. Tee boxes seemed to not be cut for over a week. The tee bOx grass was about 2" tall which made it hard to tee off with out any issue. Not sure if the par three played into slow conditions but we left after 12 whiles kfnay do to beingnon course for over four hours a terrible grass conditions all around. Will not ever play here again.
Ok course for the money
This is a nice short course especially if you can get a good rate on GolfNow. There always seems to be bit of a backup or confusion at the start and you have to seek out the starter but all in all an ok round.
