Located in the west valley, the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Not a bad course but the traps were terrible. Almost no sand or so hard we couldn't hit a normal sand shot. High lips made it nearly impossible to keep a ball on the green .

We booked a round on Presidents Day and expected a slow round but it moved quite well The course was once an excellent place to play but has fallen in to neglect. The greens and fairways were full of ball marks and divots. There were paths made by carts that had torn up the areas around the greens and fairways. Piles of grass, leaves and branches were on every hole. All of these could be easily remedied with some attention. It’s a great layout but needs a refurbishing badly.

This is a pretty nice course and could really be a favorite if they would put some sand in the fricken traps.

My partners referred to them as gravel pits and in some cases that wan't far from the truth. Aside form that the greens are challenging and the layout very enjoyable.

The starter was very friendly.

Pace of play was very good considering the second group out in front of us was a fivesome.

The course outside the fairways is in very rough shape. Yes it has been very dry which did not help.

But what the course itself can control, it did not. The greens were in only ok shape except all the bird, duck, goose poop everywhere.

Many parts the course you had to figure out where to walk to not walk in the poop. Several of the greens were filthy with goose poop. I would not play here again until they figure out how to control that or at least put an effort into cleaning and off throughout the day. Most bunkers do not have rakes. But it is a hazard so take it for what it’s worth.

Course was wet so Cart path only, still good, like the straight out layout no side by side fairways! Starter was great very good review and advice on the course. I would recommend that the starter gives all golfers a lesson on how to fix a ball mark correctly on the practise green before groups go out. some of the greens had to much damage from ball marks not repaired correctly!

4:45....terrible.

No ranger.

Course has personality, but inconsistent greens and bunkers make for a guessing game.

I only recommend at less than $32.

Round was 5 hours long and no Marshall in site. By the time we got to fifteen the two groups in front of us we playing as a 8 some. No marshall around to even try to get things moving. Pins have not been moved in at least 2 weeks so greens were pretty beat and you had some real bumpy putts. Not a enjoyable round of golf. Fairways were ok and the sand was concrete. Another decent course getting run down by The ownership group.

Played this course several times and it is always enjoyable, but it needs someone out there monitoring pace of play. We were behind a group that nod no clue what they were doing. Stopped on a few holes to pick fruit from trees, driving all over the course. Took us 2 hrs and 40 min to play 7 holes. Someone needs to be on the course to speed things up. There were about 10 guys working in both the cart area and pro shop. We eventually skipped the last 2 holes on the front. Unfortunately there was a similar group teeing off which resulted in just as much frustration. Shouldn't be like this

Ridiculous, 3 hrs to play 10 holes. Not a marshal in sight. Stopped playing Stone Creek for same reason. Believe the same management runs both courses.. two singles joined us at the start of the game and nobody lasted past past 13 th hole.

Inquired about the marshal and was told they went home at 3:30. Well our tee time was noonish and we never saw a marshal once.

I haven’t played this course in over a year. First of all their “gueese “ issue has become even worse. There are MORE gueese than ever before & the course is extremely dirty with all their droppings. Secondly, the pace of play was horrible. When we arrived at hole 10, there were 3 foursomes ahead of us & then another arrived behind us making five foursomes. It was over a 5-hour round & we skipped the last hole. The women’s tee boxes were uneven

Played The Legend at Arrowhed for the first time the other day. It’s an Arnold Palmer designed course (although I’m not sure Arnie himself designed it or his company). Nonetheless, it’s a very nice course. Elevated tees, elevated greens ( I found the greens to be a bit smaller than what I’m used to playing; I think Arnie favored smaller greens), water (that comes into play frequently), and lots of bunkers (fairway & greenside). However, Some of them have been turned into wasteland so you don’t have to play them like a designated sand bunker. But there still are plenty of bunkers to contend with. And the course winds through a community so the fairways are a bit tight on some holes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Two faults I found was that it seemed to me the fairways had been a bit overwatered. We encounter wet areas in the middle of the fairway on just about every hole. The fairways are mounded on some holes so the water collects in the low spots. But it really didn’t affect play. The other issue was the “rough” was a bit bare on a few holes. Not a huge issue but I believe the rough should be grass grown higher than the fairway. All in all I found the The Legend to be a nice course that can eat your lunch if you don’t play smart. But Arnie was a go for broke guy so there some good are opportunities for birdies out there. I’ll definetly play there again.

This course is surprisingly scenic. The layout is engaging but not necessarily difficult. Greens are well maintained and challenging. Fairways are pretty nice. The rough not so much. The sand traps are unacceptable. An extremely thin layer of sand and rock hard. Really needs attention.
