Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort
About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

Fairways
Fairways were bare in some spots. Don’t know why they don’t rope those areas off so the grass can go.
"Be a Big Baller, Play the Tips" Challenging.
Great Value. Might be the best for the money. Challenging but fair. Very wide fairways. Strategic placements. Fun Cours.
Hard to find
Overall it was a good experience, the course was in good shape, the pace of play was good, the employees are nice and the price was right. 2 items you should be aware of. 1. Dress code, they are very strict especially with the Women’s dress code, my wife had to buy a collared shirt even though they sold tank tops similar to the one she was already wearing. 2. Signage from Club house drive to the parking lot, club drop off and pro shop is horrible, if it’s your first time playing, you should allow some extra time to park, and hike around the back of the building to the club house, the good news is the carts are located about midway inbetween so you can drop your clubs off and go check in. I would certainly play here again.
Some nice holes.
Enjoyed the the course. Nice variety of challenges and some very scenic holes. As a first time player I found the bag drop off and pro shop somewhat confusing. The parking lot indicates a bag drop off site but it is not clearly evident.
second time playing course
Was looking forward to playing this course for the second time after playing it last March. At that time the course was in excellent shape and I gave it an excellent recommendation. However this time playing the course was a great disappointment as it looks like the maintenance of the course has taken a step backwards. Many greens had large stress areas on them and several areas around the greens were overwatered causing ball to plug. Given the $61 fee the course was not worth it. Hopefully they can restore it to the conditions experienced last year but in the meantime there are many other courses better to spend ones money at.
It's a safe course
We hit the course on a cool day so the locals were all inside and we had it all to ourselves. Greens were in great shape, fairways were lush. Not very long or challenging. Fairways were wide, and safe for those that spray their balls. Club house was harder to find, and bag drop was 100yds from the club house. The plus was there was soap in every ball washer, and a washer on every hole.
Enjoyed the round just prior to their overseeding
We really enjoyed our round. The weather was hot, but perfect, and we played in just under 4 hours. Course was in good "pre-overseeding" condition. Greens were fairly fast and consistent. Will play this course again..
great to build confidence
fairways seemed to be 100 yards wide! swing as fast as you want with the driver and still end up in the fairway!! Great course for beginners or families or an intermediate golfer who wants to try different things on the course. Greens were quite good for this time of year.
This courses layout was excellent challenging but very playable
When I arrived the staff showed me where the first and tenth tee we're , then they informed me who I was golfing with. The whole experience was so much more enjoyable then I thought it would. I will definitely play this course again. Thank you for having this course on you roster of courses
Eagle's Nest
Very nice course. Staff is friendly. Played in summer so fairways a little rough. Nice place.
Great Layout
A good test of golf for all levels . Greens are a little slow but run true. Overall a great day of golf for anyone who enjoys a challenge .
Friendly layout
No surprises. Nice greens and tee boxes. Nice clubhouse facilities. Open enough to allow for a few mistakes. Wife liked it as there were no large carries required from the tees. All par 3's 180-200 yds from the tips..... Closer to 100 from the reds. For all but the particularly picky.... decent course to play.
Very nice
This is not an easy course. That being said it is in very good condition. Lots of water hazards. Played Saturday afternoon and the two of us had no one in front or behind. Just wish they had ice chests on the carts. Overall I will go there again.
Great course
Eagle's Nest at Pebble Creek is one of two courses at this retirement development and is the original course. Played with 3 extremely nice women residents of the community who filled me in on the ins and outs of the course. Course from tee to green is in outstanding shape but the greens were a little long and slow given their appearance. Highly recommend course and got a good deal on Golf Now
Excellent condition
Course enjoyed by both my wife and self. Generous fairways with a few water hazards. A good challenge for any ability depending upon which tees played. As fine condition that I have played in Az. Would certainly return.
Eagle Nest
Course is in great shape, greens will hold, bunkers could use a little more sand in them, fairways are green and firm. Overall this was a very enjoyable round with good people and friendly staff even though I didn't play my best. It was a shotgun start Friday which allowed play to move along well.
Shotgun start?
First time playing there. They started us on 5 which was very odd. Make sure you figure in an extra 15 minutes to get to the whichever hole they start you on. Guess they do this to get as many groups out as they can. Play did flow well although with the cart-path only it was still a long round. No food or beverage cart. Course was i great shape with exceptions of the greens which were ridiculous. Like putting on shag carpet. Why even open if you haven't cut them?
