Greens roll very true, fairways roll very well and sand bunkers have very soft sand. Definitely best greens I’ve played in the valley yet this year. Go check this place out
Great course with some fantastic views. Course was in great shape with very quick greens. Greens are well guarded with huge bunkers. Some of the bunkers could use a bit more sand. Overall a great experience.
Great place to play
Great staff, bag check, pro shop, starter ,ranger and bag staff. Course was excellent condition. This is a beautiful place to play
Nice quiet and fun course
Las Sendas is a nice course to play. The layout is interesting and diverse, and the decor is wonderful. Course conditions were great, and the sand traps which I unfortunately visited a few times had nice, soft sand. Greens were receptive and had a nice fast and true rolling speed.
A few downsides: no beverage/food cart on the course, distance to green not always well identified, and a few houses on the sides are close enough to come into play.
Played on thanksgiving and the front desk was super friendly and allowed us to go out earlier than our tee time. The starts did kind of give bad advice about the difficulty of the course it is not as difficult as they let on. I don't think they play many courses and may not hit a very good ball. We had a great time guy in our foursome hit a hole in one so that was exciting. Greens were a nice speed would not want any slower. Hope to play agin on my next trip. Don Young
Course in very good shape
Sand bunkers were good even tho I did not want to be in them
The course was in in fantasy shape...
It was card path only...which was somewhat hard...
You have to a fair to good golfer for this course...
The courseis in great condition and the layout is great.
We had a great time until the marshall got out of nowhere to tell us we were two minutes late....
No one behind...... 20 minutes later he came again to tell us that we did not need to hurry as the course was slow ahead of us
Sorry Hulk Hogan, but you should have a better view on what is happening on the course.
Magnificent as always!
I've played Las Sendas over 20 times and it is always in the best condition possible. Always! Fabulous greens, well kept bunkers, (and I was in a lot of them), beautiful fairways, fantastic views and super friendly staff. Only complaint is the holes are too small as I lipped out putt after putt. (It couldn't be me!). Thanks, Las Sendas, for another fun day!
Fantastic scenery. Nicely conditioned. Fair, but difficult greens and traps. Slow play!!! “Bogeys”. Is fantastic for post round.
SLOWWWWWW 6 hour round
Finished 9 holes in 3 hours because of men’s members in front. They play in a fivesome and hold up the whole course. The Marshall said that by direction of the course owner they can not advise the members to keep pace of play.
We went to the pro shop after the 9rh hole and 3 hours to ask for a rain check because there was no way at this pace we could finish in daylight even though we started at 12:22. They said NO. It’s our choice to quit or continue at this slow pace with 3 groups at every tee box.
We had to quit in hole 12 at 4:30pm.
Couldn’t finish our round even though we paid full price for 18 holes. Management couldn’t care less that we didn’t get a full round in.
Waste of time and money at this course.
Awesome course in pristine condition! Play was slow because of cart path only due to winter overseed. Should space tee times further apart to compensate.
Pace of play was a disaster
We knew it might be hard to finish the round teeing off at the first twilight time. But never would you expect or should you have to accept having 4 groups playing the second hole at the same time. If it were not a hot deal time we would have returned to the clubhouse and asked for our money back. It was terrible. Skip this course until next summer arrives and the snow birds are gone home. Unless you like 6+ hour rounds of golf with 10-15 minute wait times on almost every tee box.
Very unfortunate that people like you make such ridiculous comments! We are professionals and know times on the course to the minute,, we know exactly how long play takes and we have never had anything close to a 6 hour round! You play in a twilight time period in a "HotDeal" time and then complain falsely. Here is an idea, play in a regular time slot, pay the going rate and see how fast your round is!
Tough challenge but fair and fun
Really challenging layout, in great condition.
Tends to be better value than some of the other good desert courses. Well worth a trip - just off the 202, less than 30 mins from downtown Scottsdale. Always try to play when we visit, highly recommended.
