Course Ranger Needs Authority
During the round some
belligerent young patrons were bouncing around to open tees and causing unnecessary delays. The course ranger spoke to them and they were disrespectful and ignored the rangers request, challenging the group I was in by loud ly cursing and threatening language. The ranger should have the authority to immediately kick them off the course without refund, and our round should have been reimbursed or credited for another time.
Horrible Staff
Staff is always disrespectful when we give them no reason to be.
Cold and rainy day
It was cold and rainy but the greens were dry and fast.
Fairways nonexistent
First time playing this course but there were 0 fairways present. Literally the grass was same length whether you hit it in the middle or off by 30 yards. This could have been due to upcoming maintenance but there was no warning on that. Greens were tiny and the most treacherous I’ve seen with regards to breaks and firmness. It wasn’t too bad for the price I paid for the round but definitely would have liked more of a heads up from the course before showing up. Course has a lot of potential to be good. Hoping it was an off day.
New experience
People who i played with were great. Fairways were long would be nice to see the ball sitting up in the fairway way. From a distance. Greens were some of the more challenging around had whales and elephants buried under the greens.
Challeging greens
Course was busy, but moved very well. Course is in good shape. Greens were fast.
Good value course
Had a little difficulty obtaining our carts from the barn. Tee boxes were quite rough and un-level. Fairways were decent and greens were generally good to very good. Mainly made up of par 3's, short par 4's and 1 par 5. Good course to practice your skulls.
My only issue is that the small area around the holes were very often not level with the cup. Many seemed to have a raised area around the hole that was actually raised enough to be visible to the naked eye. Other aspects of the course were quite nice.
Good warmup
This course is a good warmup for the bigger courses. The crowned greens add the difficulty that make you work for your pars.
Worst course I’ve played on in Az
Fairways and rough all the same. A pasture. Greens OK but impossible
Over booked
We had 3:15 tee time
Got to first tee 3:40
Need to spread tee times out further apart or get marshal to move slow play along
Icing on cake was being chastised because we were 10 min late bring carts back
Guy literally chased us off last green taking flags out
I am retired guy who works part time on greens keeping team back in Ontario and we would never treat our paying golfers like we were
