The course is very interesting and well laid out. It is very scenic which makes it interesting. As we were a twosome and later in the day we had no problem with the pace of play. Staff and course condition was great.
This is a great course. Well designed and in very good condition. A couple is the greens are a little thin, but the fairways are lush and the greens fast. The pin placement in some of the holes was brutal, but it made for a great round. Had a early tee time and finished my round unless than 3 hours. Got home in time to get my honey-do's done before noon. All in All a really good day.
Keep the early morning tee times affordable and I will be back.
Good Golf Course
Cart staff were excellent, pro shop staff less than amiable. Greens were a little bare of grass, hard and difficult to hold. Nice views.
First go round, will be back
Gray course in great shape apart from the greens which were rock hard through 16, a couple were threadbare/patchy, the last two greens were superb. Another month or two and this problem should be gone making it a challenging yet fair track.
Would play again
Course was in decent shape with exception of a few rough greens. Liked the layout. Slower play than should have been, group in front extremely slow on the greens. (Took close to 5 hours)
Left my range finder on the cart, phoned the next day and the Pro-shop staff had it. Awesome & honest staff.
Good Course for all
Played at noon on a cool and very windy day. Made the course more difficult than it would have otherwise been. Good Course for all levels of players with four sets of tees. Very nice layout with quite a number of signature Pete Dye railroad ties.
Course in good condition for this time of year. A couple of thinned fairways and neglected greens. Pro shop staff very friendly and helpful. I will return here.
Where do I start
So my group gets to the course a little early. We do bag drop. Load up our carts and then get told oh sorry we don’t have enough carts for you to be here yet. So we unload our clubs and our belongings. Well so I thought. In the hustle of unloading our things I forget my sunglasses case and sunglasses. When I realize they are missing of course the cart is gone and there is no tracking the cart I had my things in. So the short story is my glasses were never returned. Yes it is my fault but at the same time don’t let people load there things and then all of sudden oh we need your cart. That and dishonest people that really don’t care and oh look here a free pair of sunglasses. That and the fact that course was overbooked by about 100 people for the day. Slow play is an understatement. Front 9 was good. Back 9 greens leave a lot to be desired
Course was in great shape, rough areas a little wet. Good value, enjoyed it a lot.
Not a long course but not an easy course either
Very fun and will challenge you short game.
Loved this course-greens were the best of Eight golf courses we played in the Phoenix area-no trick holes definitely will play again
Decent greens fairways and bunkers but a little dry around the edges. Not happy with 5 hr.round
Very interesting course. We played the blue/white combo pairing, with offers some challenging carries off the blue tees. Course was in good condition, but could have used better signage in some locations to locate the blue tees when they were separate from the white tees. Overall, it was a great day for golf!
Narrow with small target greens
The fairways are pretty tight the course was a bit wetter than others we played but they had a little more rain . The greens are small and course knowledge would help (They do give you a hole guide) but the speed was a little slower than other courses we played (ASU was really fast) . My only gripe was we were a 3 some ready to go first tee was open were where early but they let a 4 some go then a 5 somesome go with 2 guys walking . The foursome actually held up the 5 some and we played front in 2 hours and back in 2.5 which is what starter told us ,but we waited on every par 3 and last 4 holes on back . We lost at least a half an hour of my life here ! The starter a very nice man should of used better sense and not crater to the members it’s bad for the course.
Course in good shape. Tees and fairways nice. Greens were true. Grass on greens a little stressed from cold temperatures. Traps were better than most courses. Houses on a few holes are close to errant shots. Nice layout. Nearby mountain ranges are beautiful. Wish they didn’t charge $8 for range balls when you are paying for a round.
Lots of variety
Have played the course a couple of times before and so glad we played again. The entire course is in beautiful shape. The scenery is great. Sand traps are tough and lots of variety. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Will play again.
