Red Mountain Ranch Country Club
The golf course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club is a beautifully designed layout set against a desert landscape with rock formations, mesquite trees, and cacti. Pete and Perry Dye designed the course, combining both beauty and challenge. This championship course was built on rolling terrain and has large, sharply contoured greens and extensive mounding that is reinforced with railroad ties. There are not only deep sand bunkers but also grass bunkers protecting the greens. There are also four ponds on the course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club, but only three create water hazards that come into play on four holes. A notable hole on the course in which water comes into play is the sixth, a hole that has a peninsula green with water surrounding it along three sides.

Don’t short side yourself!
Pete Dye course for sure. Moguls, deep grass bunkers and other mounds to deal with. Some blind shots. This is a place where you DEFINITELY need to know where to hit the ball and more importantly, where NOT to. Plays longer than the card suggests for sure. Add another couple hundred yards. Important! Choose the tee that suits your handicap. And take an extra sleeve of balls.
Red mountain ranch
Fun and challenging course with elevated and insulated greens. Views of homes and landscape is awesome.
Red Mountain Ranch
Very tough course. Always in good shape. Narrow target golf. Lots of fun
Red Mountain is in much better condition compared to last year. Worth playing. Challenging
Pete Dye Type Course
Many bunkers, many man-made hills, extremely fast greens.
This course would be ideal for a 10and under handicap golfers
Hot day no beverage cart when they told us there was.The course is tuff but fun the greens were a little to hard or maybe dry out from the heat your ball could bounce off
Great golf day
Course was in excellent condition. Temperature and sun were very accommodating. Greens fairly fast. Tough pin placements. Beautiful day to play golf.
Windy but awesome
It was so windy but that made it all the more fun. I had to up 3 clubs when into the wind. paired up with 2 great guys and had a blast. 3hr 50min round
A great layout requiring some thought and precision shoots, with little forgiveness. A bit slow on Saturday, even with an early tee time, but Marshal try’s to keep it moving as best he can.
Course seemed a little tight from the tee box but not.bad. Always an uneven lie which made things interesting.
The Pete Dye design is a definite challenge, and the views of Red Mountain make up for all the bad shots! Friendly staff; good pace of play; my husband was able to "ride along" without a fee. An all round very pleasant experience!
Pushing pace of play
Ranger was pushing us to play faster despite that fact there was no one within a hole behind us. our pace of play was about 4 hours 15 minutes for 18 holes where I come from that is pretty respectable.
Course needs to hire a superintendent. Bunkers are hard and course needs water.
Greens are decent.
Course maps on carts would be a real asset.
Course has a great layout but needed some maintenance the 2 bunkers I had to play out of were hard as a rock so club bounced not a good result also the were watering us for the first 4 holes seems like something that should be done after hours we had casual water on a tee box
Perfect day for golf and the course was playing better than any other course I played in Phoenix the past 10 days. If you are debating on playing, do yourself and book now.
Nice enough track, typical Pete Dye, difficult around the greens. Played at 12:30 pace was outstanding a 4 hour round
Enjoy the round
Course was a good challenge staff very friendly and helpful pace of play was great 3 1/2 hour round will be back
