Superstition Springs Golf Club
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Always a fun challenging course. Little slow. No cart service. And water features look bad without water. The course in general is always challenging and fun.
Fairways and greens are very good. Bunkers are bad tee boxes are fair to good
I’ve played this course 3 times now. It is a great course for the price, and it is very tough! You will lose a ball or two, and you have a good chance of getting wet on 17 and 18. This course blows away Apache Creek and other courses around the same price.
This is a great course and very challenging. Not a avid golfer but I did appreciate the course
I played Superstition Springs Golf Club about 3 weeks ago. The conditions have improved immensely. As they close for over seeding soon I’m sure it will continue to heal from the hard summer.
Great layout with a large variety of holes.
The golf carts are shot. The one I had had no brakes. That is the second time I got a cart like that. No ranger on course and was backed up most of my round.
Great bang for your buck
Superstition like it’s partner course Kokopelli are great courses for the value when they aren’t overbooked. Fun challenging scorable track
Friendly Staff and Fairways
Greens were on the slow side; most likely running 7-8 on stimp meter. The fairways were a bit long. Tee boxes could have been in better shape. Enjoyed the course layout.
Not a great experience
Off season - expecting course not to be perfect. However, there was trash on the course and a few dead birds laying on the course. Not acceptable. Young man who took our clubs at the end was great - staff inside not friendly.
The staff was awesome! Fun to hang out with until our round started!
Price was cheap
Course was wet and flooded. Litter all over course. Poor condition even for the price.
No Ranger = Slowest play ever
The course itself is not terrible, however the pace of play that groups were playing at was atrocious. There was no ranger/marshall to encourage faster play. Each group was stacked up and we were waiting a good 15-20 minutes on the Tee box before we could hit.
Not bad with real expectations in the heat
Nice set up of the course. About what I expected with the heat and working on keeping it green. Could use some more time but could be very special
Challenging hole layout, long par 5s
Course has a great layout but it’s summer in Arizona. Fairways are in bad shape with a lot of burned out areas and a recent aeration. Greens are in good shape tho. Still worth playing especially with summer rates in effect
No cart girl the entire 18
Course was in good shape, pace of play was good. However, no cart girl on a 102 degree day the entire 18 holes, didn’t see her once.
Once Premier, No Longer
Uhhhh, hey SSGC. How about you put a ranger on the course to speed up that 5some playing 3 groups ahead of us causing our round to take 5 hours 15 minutes today. Or better yet, follow golf etiquette and don’t allow a 5some. Course in fair shape, greens good but pace was really crappy. Saw the beverage cart once. This course used to be a premier place in the east valley, what happened? Won’t be back.
Has the ability to be a great course and was in the beginning. Sand traps if you choose to call them that were terrible. Ponds and water were about like the sand traps. This is no longer a 4 star course
