Painted Mountain Golf Club
About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

green conditions Photo submitted by u000003377470 on 10/21/2019
God day of golf, but didn't like the shortened par 3's.
Par 2.5s
We showed up at the course. There was no driving range. Once on the course ALL the Par 3s were having the tee boxes redone. So every Par 2 @ 100 yards. No one told us this in the club house.
The greens were in great shape and the course is in pretty good shape. If it was not for the lack of communication about Par 2.5s we would have been alight.
Nice round, working to improve
Enjoyed the course and the pace. Par 3 tee boxes are under remodel but rest of course is playable. Only issue was with a “golf mom” who was with her spawn behind us. We tried to let them play through but the mom said “I enjoy watching my son hit into you”.????? Will be back to our local go to spot soon.
Fast summer golf
Course was firm, greens were thick and slow. Tee boxes of the par 3’s are under remodel so all are in the 70-85 yard range. Even with these issues, fun place to play. Fast round, nice staff all getting to practice short game.
Painted mountain conditions
The fairways were in bad condition. Areas of sparse grass and dirt ground and mud. Tee boxes very bumpy and sparse grass with dirt and wet ground. The greens were very slow not mowed close.
Appears the course has shut off the water but some areas ie. The 18th fairway was soaking wet in some areas.
Fair and easy
3 rd time playing course over many years, it's not difficult, fair layout, can score if u can putt unfortunately greens were hard and speeds all over the place, bunkers need work,as well as fairways,if u want fun round that's not gonna stress u out play this course before u take on more difficult courses in the area, beverage cart only saw once bummer, I would recommend this course for fun
Pleasant surprise
I enjoyed my round at Painted Mountain. The fairways were firm and fast but not burnt. The greens were in fair shape. I did not get into any bunkers but they looked good. The pace of play was great, less than 3 hours. Two groups allowed us to play through.
Enjoyable Day of Golf
Good condition for this time of year, I always enjoy playing Painted Mot. Great staff!!
Painted Mountain
The staff is amazing which makes the whole golf experience so much better. The course is amazing. When we have people come to visit we always golf Painted Mountain.
Fun course!
The course is fairly wide open and can accommodate most skill levels. The fairway grass is not as lush as many of the more expensive courses, however, the greens were in great shape.
Hot but enjoyable.
Another great day at Painted Mountain Golf Course. Enjoy the quick play available after 12:00. The sfaff, Raul, Loreno, and Steve, are always friendly and make the day more enjoyable. Nice to see staff that greet you and appear to be glad to see you. Will be back next week.
This golf course is a good one it is slow on the weekends but when you go and week days it is so good the pace of the place is good the workers are helpful nice friendly staff so I would go to this place again
