Worth the drive.
Decent course if you don’t play it during the dry part of the summer. They don’t water the fairways in the summer so your are hitting off hardpan even in the middle of the fairway. The greens are always nice.
Had a great day golfing. We just happened to pick the coldest and windiest day. First time to play the course. Bring your straight shot or a lot of balls. Lots of hills and hidden shots. The greens were in good shape as well as the fairway even though AZ is going through a drought right now. The restaurant is temporarily closed for now until they find someone to run it again. Go and enjoy.
Great golf course
The course was in excellent condition with the exception of two greens. They were a bit dry and patchy, but they did not affect our round of golf. The staff is very friendly and the beverage cart lady is such a nice person! Love golfing in Kino Springs!!!
2 of us playing at 745am. It was fast and beautiful of a course. Will go back there again when I'm in town. The greens were super fast
Difficult course in a great setting.
The greens are really fast. The back nine is friendlier than the front nine. Not sure I would play again.
Course had fun holes, and great views of surrounding desert mountains
We always enjoy this course
We booked a round on GolfNow and ended up meeting up with a friend who was just checking in. The course has recently undergone some maintenance, and golf carts were 90 degree only. We had good pace of play but our cart died at the tee box on hole 11 and our friend had to drive his cart in for assistance as there is no cell service and no marshall. We waited about 45 minutes before we could continue our game. No compensation was offered.
We always enjoy playing Kino springs, the course is in good shape and it gives us a good challenge. Staff is great !
This course has some great views
We enjoy playing this course, even though there is some work that needs to be done on the cart paths and some better carts. They work hard around the course to make it better.
Course is working to improve conditions.
Kino Springs is challenging as tee shots require accuracy especially #5 through #13. The fairways have recently been over seeded and carts were required on paths or through rough areas on sides of fairways. Tee shots were not getting much roll due to wetness from watering the over seeding. Greens were soft and holding. Greens were in good shape for the most part and looked faster than they actually were. It was good to see that Kino Springs was working to improve overall course conditions. The course is truly great to play and the views from the inner holes is great as well.
Another Great Day at Kino Springs
Course was being prepared for over-seeding but was still great for playing. Had the place to ourselves and it was a great day.
Kino is surviving
Love the course, greens are great but fairways are dry and browning out. Lack of water for what ever reason. Please allow Kieth to do his thing and give him the money to bring the course back to his vision!
Scenic Round of Golf
Course was not busy and allowed our group to play at a good pace. Tee boxes and fairways showed some stress, but overall were in good condition. Greens had been recently punched, so they were with challenge considering line and speed. This course starts out somewhat easy, then goes up into the mountains, which do not allow errant shots. It finishes on relatively flat lands but still maintains its challenge. This is a very enjoyable course to play and enjoy your surroundings.
Interesting course set in a beautiful valley
Not your average course. Half the holes have extreme elevation changes. The greens are smooth and quick. I would play there more often except for the out of the way location, but that makes the round more of an event.
