Since management has made some changes the course has been steadily improving.
grass in fairway grass is filling in and with over
seeding next week I'm sure it will continue to get better. The greens have been much nicer the last couple months and were just aerated. They have also invested in all new golf carts.
Management is steadily improving the course. The grass on the tee boxes and greens are much improved since last year. Fairways have also improved and staff is still working on them. They have even purchased all new golf carts. Staff is friendly and easy to talk to.
I know it’s summer and all but damm. I don’t know how anybody could give this place a positive review. Most employees are grumpy. Got the vibe I was “less than” the pro shop attendant and seemed like he wanted to pick a fight verbally that is.
Course has shown much improvement since new greenskeeper was hired recently.Great strides have been made in the last 2 months. Hopefully this trend will continue, and course will return to its nice condition of years past. Breakfast sandwich prior to the round in the grill was good, and the beverages following the round were cold.
The fairways were equivalent to hard pan and the traps had little sand mixed with grass.
The course/grass has improved. It appears it is getting more water and grass is filling in. Still many bare spots but improved over the last couple months.
Friendly staff, but the course is not in good shape. I am getting back to golf so it is good practice, but greens and fairways are not in good shape.
Also, the food/bar is usually very good, but the grill was closed on Friday, unfortunately :(
PV Is close to our house But I would still choose it even if it weren't. I really like the course. They work hard to keep it nice.
Resonable Public course
Played there many time because of the location. Depending on the time of year it can be a bit of slow play, especially on the weekends. This round it was wide open and me and my partner played through quickly and one of our better rounds.
Only thing worth doing there is hitting balls and putting. Course is a mess and way over priced.
You get what you pay for
The course is in really bad shape. Grass is very thin can’t distinguish the fairway from the rough. Play was fast. One thing to note is tons of range balls all over the course. Especially holes 1 and 9. Almost got hit walking up the ninth hole by an errant range ball.
Got to 5th green when hail, rain, wind, thunder, and lightening came and stayed for an hour. This course is not well drained and the grass is long, so it was ruined for the day and we were soaked before returning to the club house.
This course does not offer rain checks, so we were unable to recover our excessive fees for the day. $33 fees on this course, tho GolfNow didn’t charge a booking fee, is way too much for this poorly kept goat track. We play it because it is otherwise convenient.
