Not what I expected. It wasn't much
I would only come to this place to practice chipping, putting, and to go to the range. Found a deal on GolfNow. Paid around 35 a person with cart. Not worth it. Greens are absolutely terrible. Most of them have literal sand traps, or holes, or dry. Fairways are decent. Layout is meh. Tee boxes are pathetic. Carts are old and gas powered. This is definitely one of the worst muni courses. Oh and range balls are overpriced.
Paradise Valley Golf Course
Great course, lots of par 3, a few par 4’s and one par 5. Great value!
Good value
The course offers excellent value. The greens provide a stimulating challenge that enhances the golfing experience.
Too slow
To play from the regular tees on a course that is 3700 yards, 21/2 hours to play holes 10 to 18 is ridiculous. We were a twosome and waited at least 5 minutes at every hole. The snack bar was not open, that is the cause for the low rating on that
maintain things
I can see this would be a great course to play if they would actually mow the grass around the edge of the fairways. so much tall and untouched areas that would be simple to address
The course was poorly maintained grass was too long we lost balls on the fairway hidden in the tall grass.
Greens are pathetic rough and some had way too much slope. Tee boxes were small and barely maintained.
No amenities at all they did have two chillers one for the three kinds of lite beer the other for water.
Never going back even if it was free.
Greens??
The putting green is better than the course greens!!! The rough & the “fairways “ need cutting and for gods sake please fill in the huge potholes on the cart paths!!! The course overall needs some better care!!
The “pro” shop
My biggest issue is the rude guy that checks you in. Overwhelmed by 5 people or not, he shouldn’t be demeaning and insulting.
Decent course for the money
You get what you pay. It's an executive course for the beginner or very casual golfer. No frills here. Greens are hard and fast. A little on the bumpy side too. Tee boxes and fairways are okay. The cart path is in very bad shape-watch for some big ruts. On course restrooms are in horrible shape--use those in the clubhouse. All considered, it is a cheap course where you can work on your iron game with a few driver shots.
Customer service
I honestly can’t say much about the specifics because I emailed twice and called 6 times, between 9am and 4pm and received no reply or answer. Additionally, you cannot leave a voicemail for them, because it’s “full”.
So, I lost my money.
Maybe one of the worst in Phx
Don’t know where to start.. there was a sink hole on the cart path. The greens are burnt out. Bunkers are basically dirt, course is not maintained.
Paradise Valley Municipal Course
Nice course to practice the Irons. Clubhouse attendant was 15 minutes late opening up in the morning, we stood around waiting to get checked in. Need to fill the potholes on the cart path with cold patch.
Course 1-18
The course needs some grounds work and lots of path repair. I do, however, like going there. No hassles, friendly staff. Usually tee times are on time and golfers don't take forever! Keep the staff, get the land issues updated and this one will be great!
