Rude staff and not worth the price at all!
My friend and I played here last Friday for the first time… right off the bat we were greeted poorly at the front desk and treated like we were supposed to know what to do on our own. We also asked if the range balls were accessible by the range, and the worker said “No… you have to see me for a code!” Once again, how are we supposed to know that lol. As far as the course goes, it wasn’t terrible but it definitely wasn’t worth almost $40… the layout is pretty fun and straight forward, but the course is in below average shape and the green are patchy and all over the place. The surrounding area of the golf course is also not the best location, just seems a little sloppy and trashy. I’d say this place could definitely make it up in the rating department, they just need to fix their greens and get better staff that doesn’t come off as rude or pushy to the customers…
Other than the pathways being riddled with potholes this course is great
Great course for cheap!
The course was fun and great for me since I am a beginner
They need to update the cart paths. They are very rough with lots of ruts and pot holes.
First time
Fairways and greens in good shape. Cart path was horrible. Drinks spilled every time you went to the next hole. Restrooms on course need attention. Roughs are overgrown with weeds and balls easily lost. What do you expect for the price
Just okay
Made a reservation online. When I checked in there was a sign posted stating that the course would close promptly at 5:15. I asked for a rain check as I knew there would not be time to complete 18 in 2:45. They would not accommodate my request. I tried playing a few holes after the turn, but was slowed by a young player who was receiving lessons on the course. Frustrated to say the least.
Straightforward Executive Course
18 hole executive course with generous greens. Not too long, not too short. Good variety of hole lengths. Hard to assess course conditions; we played after an unusual amount of rain. I would expect this course to play quite differently when dry.
The course itself is in very good condition. Cart path and on-course bathrooms need serious attention. PV provides a good golfing value for the average and beginner golfer.
Great value
Great value for the money! Fun course for iron work. Thank you Daryl for on time check-in.
Thought the price was too good to be true. We were right. This course is really rough. The man at the pro shop desk was really nice though.
Pretty rough
First impression - the pro shop is dark and cluttered.
Carts are in decent condition.
The course is in rough shape.
Cart paths are either rutted dirt or broken concrete.
Tee boxes are shaggy with major divot issues.
Fairways are reasonably grassed but rough areas come into play way too often.
Most of the greens were sparse of grass.
Par 3's are generally quite long and not conducive to higher handicappers, although one could play the forward tees.
In fairness, this is a very public course and, given the modest cost, caters to newer golfers who may not have the same sense of etiquette as seasoned golfers.
