White Wing at Rio Verde Country Club
About
Located at the base of four soaring mountains, both golf courses at the Rio Verde Country Club offer panoramic views of Four Peaks and the Mazatzal Mountains. On clear days, the Superstition Mountains can even be seen on the White Wing golf course. White Wing has a traditional, parkland-style design with homes lining the fairways and wall-to-wall grass. There is a scattering of trees that can affect shots and water hazards come into play on some holes. There is also strategic bunkering throughout. One particularly interesting hole is the par-4 11th, which features a lake on the right and a bunker on the left.

More slow play
An average course that should have been done in 3.5 hrs, but loaded w/ oldster members & reciprocals from other clubs who couldn't get it done in 5 hrs. Not worth playing, even if your member-host pays.
beautiful scenery, great pace, improved conditions with Troon Management
I have played both courses,
First, Pace of play is fantastic for the most part
Second, green are beautiful, roll great and are tricky. Not extremely quick
Third, this is managed by Troon, the course conditions are improving.
fourth, I predict in 5 years, this will be one of the private courses that must be played.
Bring your won beer and snacks and go to the restaurant after for beers and some bar food!
