Designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, The Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale was purpose-built to host the PGA Tour's Phoenix Open, and it has done so since 1987. Designed with high drama in mind, the venue is well known as one of the most exciting and fan-friendly in all of golf, which includes a thrilling finishing stretch that begins with the risk-reward 15th hole. The course plays to over 7,200 yards from the tournament tees, but golfers who play the course during their Arizona golf vacation will find the layout has more forgiving fairways than many other area desert courses. The TPC experience includes one of the most encompassing practice areas in the destination, as well as grand clubhouse that includes the Toro Restaurant and Rum Bar. TPC Scottsdale is also home to the Champions Course, which plays out of a separate facility nearby.

Greens were in good shape and running well.
Fairways could use better sand filling and a little wet/soft near the greens which causes mud and balls to stay short if flighted high.
Bunkers good. Drink cart service good.

They charge way too much to simply play hole 16 which is so disappointing without the stands. It is an average course at best.

Back 9 worth the money to play once

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Started on #10. Great layout challenging yet playable if you are smart.
Front 9 was excellent but not nearly as exciting as back nine.
It was a “bucket” list course for me.
Would I play again? Not at current price.

Only complaint this time was that greens were very slow and shaggy to the standards I’m used to here at TPC Stadium.

The Stadium Didn’t Disappoint

Course layout was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Sam Meyer was one of the best caddies I’ve ever had on the bag. Highly recommend for any serious golfer looking for a first class experience.

Wrong time of year

Fantastic course, but we unfortunately played at the time of overseeing and cart paths only is quite challenging. Great layout, friendly staff, especially for being a TPC property.-very welcoming. Very thankful for the opportunity to experience such a great course!

Cmon it’s the stadium course

First time playing the stadium course. Was blown away with the service and staff at the course. For mid July with it being 100+ these past few months, the course was in great condition. Would highly recommend getting in for a twilight round. Saved some money and wasn’t as brutal in the heat. Would come back and play in a heartbeat
