Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
About
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Old School AZ Golf For All Skill Levels
My friend Ralph booked us on this old school course after our first choice fell through. I knew it's reputation as an older resort that may be past it's prime. Upon entering, you get the feel that this was one of THE places back in the 1960's or 70's. After a brief warm up, we were off right on time. The course is a user friendly layout with yardages that are short by today's standards. Playing alongside 3 guys in their 70's, the White tees made sense and served us well. There are bunkers and hazards, but the are not threatening and are easily skirted. The greens are very fast down hill and down grain and just the opposite going the other way. We enjoyed the nicely paced round (4:10 with an 11:00 tee time). The ranger did make the slower group in front of us skip the par 3 7th, and that got the pace back on track. There are many older, single story homes on the course that speak to the age of the development. After golf we enjoyed great sandwiches and ice cold beers at The Grove. I had somewhat low expectations for OT going in but I was very impressed with the golf experience. I think it could be a good addition to most golfer's line up in Scottsdale unless you are a single digit handicapper who requires 7000 yards to be challenged. I would play it again.
Ball Marks EVERYWHERE on greens
Apparently no players at this course repair ball marks on the greens and ALMOST none of them repair divots in the fairways. Other than that it was fine
Well established course.
From tee off to the last hole you get the feeling that you’re taken care of. Well groomed fairways and smooth greens.
Disappointing Experience
First time playing this course and with what I paid, expected more. The golf holes are pretty boring, and course conditions were fair at best.
Needs water
Both greens and fairways are starting to dry out. Some extra water would be helpful to overall conditions.
Good location, amenities and course
Staff was welcoming and friendly. the outside veranda watching people come in on 18 was very nice too. Last time I was here the course was in better shape, fairway was dry and needed some work on their bunkers. Not that bad though. Play for a lot of run on your tee shots. Also a good course for higher handicappers and shorter hitters.
Very well rounded facility.
Great course. Great range. Golf carts. Club shop. Good. Pricing. Great food. Great views. Love this place.
Don’t pay the over rated price
It’s more like a muni course than a top rated $150. Course to play in this area. Look around there are others courses to play that are a better value on GN overpriced!! Flat course with women tee s in the middle of the fairway!!
Great condition- Fun Track
The course is in great shape and my sons and I agreed it was the best value we've seen this month. Staff is excellent and super friendly
Nice playable course
The course is getting a bit dry but overall in pretty good shape.
Nothing tricky about course and good for average players.
Course was nice overall - greens, fairway, tee box all around n great shape
Pace of play was slow, although bearable
Yes, I would go back & play again
Blue tees are equivalent to white tees at most other courses
Slow greens
Conditions overall were fine. Greens were very slow. Other than a bit of water it’s hard to get into trouble.
Review Orange Tree GC
Great course, friendly staff, lots of sand , so challenging l, greens on excellent condition.
Orange Tree
Nice layout, a bit too flat maybe but good condition with excellent pace of play.
