Starfire Golf Club - The Mulligan 9
Enjoyed playing here. Staff was courteous and efficient. Course in great condition.
Played 9 with a buddy, his 1st outing, exactly what we needed on length of course and greens undulation
Nice golf course
Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a range with restricted flight balls. Pretty short, tight layout with plenty of hazards. Accuracy is your goal. Greens were firm and pretty fast. Short irons would not hold. Bunkers were well manicured.
Starfire for 4 less than average
No rush for high handicapped golfers, good pace of play
It was a stuggle
We were paired with two elderly gents who were very nice but had some health issues. One had Parkinson’s disease and had a recent stoke. The other man collapsed on the seventh tee. We were very worried about them, but they were OK when they left.
We have had many good days at Starfire so we just logged this one as an exception.
Not bad for the money
Course was in good shape greens were firm and fast pace was good no waiting on tee the price is excellent for Arizona this time of year unless you want a goat track
A little short for big hitters maybe. I’m not so fine for myself and my 14 year old son. The big knock is the lack of a full driving range. I thoroughly enjoyed my round!
Good afternoon walk
This is a nice course for good afternoon walk. A good opportunity to work on a few things in your game. It’s a comfortable walking distance with enough separation between holes so that you don’t feel like you’re hitting into other players.
Great public course
Great layout and very well cared for . Greeting staff were absolutely wonderful - got us out early -cleaned our clubs at the conclusion of the round. Dinner and 9 hole rate was unbelievable. We'll be back many times..
This course is great value for the cost. It is well maintained and staff is great. I play alot of golf and this course is one of the best!
Green and Lush
Course is in wonderful condition, personel is friendly and helpful
9-hole option was great
This course has a 9-hole option in morning that was excellent for a quick round.
The Squire looks like a short course on the card but it is really fun playing. Any short holes it has are extremely interesting and require precise club selection to avoid obstacles
