Quail Run Executive Golf Course
About
Quail Run Executive Golf Course has two sets of teeboxes for more golfing options. The course's layout features relatively wide fairways and medium-sized, mildly undulating greens. All of the greens are well protected all around by sand bunkers. The tees and greens are all elevated as well for more challenge. Although the course is mostly flat there are some slight elevation changes on the course. There is also a water hazard, a lake, which comes into play on one hole. The Quail Run Executive Golf Course facility offers different practice facilities including a chipping area and putting green.

Not great
A 9 hole course for the price of 18. You do the 9 twice and that doesn't count in my book. Won't go here again.
Quail course
Nice short course. Not a lot of sand. Good for practicing your iron shots
Nice executive course
I know when you hear executive you think "ok my driver is not getting any play today", not here there is actually a par 5 on this course a a couple nice par 4's.
Overall a nice course with really good greens. Will pay again. Word of advise though they only have 6 carts, which wasn't a problem since we used my dads, just thought i'd throw it out there.
great course
if you are looking for a great executive course this is for you. very wide fairways. country club caliber condition....Great value.
Good course for a quick 9
An okay chip and put course, relatively expensive for this time of year, we paid less to play a lot better courses in May
Weekend with my son
Met my son, who drove from San Diego, I drove from Topeka, Kansas, to watch a little baseball and play a little golf. Beautiful course, friendly staff, all around awesome experience!
Good Executive Course
Nice course for those out for a relaxed, not-too-difficult round or serious golfers out for a practice round. A couple of longer par-4's and 5's interspersed with the expected par-3's. Fun place to putt, as a few greens have pretty much slant. Designed as a 9-hole track, they added 9 extra tees so you can play 18 holes using the same greens twice. Pleasant experience for someone looking for a simple, short, not-too-expensive course. Practice and chipping greens, but no range.
It is good for the community, single family home around it.
About 3 years ago I walked this course and I did it again this time and had a good time and played with 3-some. Played 18 holes. This course is only 9-hole, but have designed two teeing off, Tee box, for playing 18-holes. Fairways are green and well kept. Putting green is fair. People in front of us were playing slow pace, but I think this course needed additional bench in each hole to sit down while waiting our tern to tee-off.
Crossover Snafu!
The course is challenging and is generally well kept, greens are in great shape, However.....................
The course is basically nine holes and you play from two sets of tees to make it eighteen. The challenge is on busy days, the pro shop has to maintain absolute control on who is teeing off and when. I have played here before and had no problems. Unfortunately on this day, the pro shop had lost complete control of who was teeing off, whether confirmed times or crossovers. I was about 45 minutes late in teeing off, took 4 hours to play 14 holes on an executive 18!!!!
Had to leave as I had an appointment.
RCSC has to work on improving the scheduling on busy days.Glad these folks are only controlling tee times and not the nation's air traffic!
Always in great shape
They take very good care of this course. Very fair green fees. Only wish they had more carts available.
Excellent fun golf course
Par 3 tend to back up play but moved very nicely. Enjoyed the outstanding staff and their helpfulness.
Fun course, great staff
Fun course, great staff. Short but challenging. 1 par 5, 2 par 4's and the rest 3's
This course is great for a quick relaxing round of golf.
Excellent course for wife and I to enjoy golfing at a relaxed pace. Very nice 9-hole course. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Simple and straight forward
Greens were good. Course was in decent shape. Bring your lunch and snacks, course has two vending machines and does not serve alcohol.
BE AWARE!
Be aware that this is only a 9 hole course and the cart is not included in your "GolfNow" fee. There is no driving range and the chipping and putting area is small. Club house is small and there is no restaurant or bar. I picked this course, because the "GolfNow" cost was only $14 and discounted 70%. When I got there I asked what their green fee was. The standard rate was $30 and senior rate was $28 with a cart. We had to pay $10.50 per person for a cart, so we only saved $3.50. Hardly 70%. Very disappointing.
Great Experience
First time playing here. Same nine twice, but different sets of tee locations per 9 give each hole a different look the second time through. Check in was VERY pleasant (think his name was Chris). Course conditions were very nice. A par 5 (and two 4's) on an executive course were a nice surprise, allowing a great risk vs. reward scenario on some holes.. Greens a tad slow and nearly all slope back to front
Only reason that I didn't rate the course a 5 star: no driving range and an overly eager ranger who didn't seem to care whether you were mid-swing or not, just kept on driving with his bright orange flags. Several times he drove right up while setting up for an approach shot, got out of his cart with a bottle of seed in hand, waiting for us to finish our swing. After creating a divot, he scurries over to fill in with the mix before we even put the club back in the bag. The kicker was when he asked us to use the cart path only on a couple of holes so WE wouldn't cause any more ruts through the soggy spots on the on the course. Which normally would make perfect sense had our foursome not been WALKING the course with pull carts. Last time I checked, those were pretty non intrusive and considering he drove straight through the soggy spots on the way to scolding us....but who am I to judge?
Lack of driving range and the over zealous ranger were not enough to keep me from recommending or returning however. We laughed off Ranger Rick and will warm up at a driving range nearby next time.
...FAST greens!!!
What this course lacks in length, sure makes up the difficulty with tight lies around the greens making it difficult to chip/pitch and be able to keep it on the green!! Fastest greens that I have played this year and with plenty of breaks and slope to keep your putter in play!! Course overall is very fun and challenging to play! Love the 2 different sets of tees for the front/back nine as it is only a 9 hole course...but still very cool!
Rediscovered An Old Friend
Played many years before and decided to try it again. Course is pretty much as I remembered it. Old and well developed, nice combination of short, medium and long holes. Played it twice and used the other tees on the back 9. Quick and fun good for walking. Well maintained. Won't wait for years to play again.
Great value at Quail Run
Quail Run plays as an 18 hole course, but it's really only 9 holes with different T-boxes, giving you a different look at the same holes on the back nine. This can also cause some traffic jams if you get caught in the mix of people playing the front and back at the same time. We got into such a jam, but that meant that the back took 2 hours--still not a bad pace. It's a typical executive par-31 course except that it has a par-five hole and two par 4s (on each 9, of course:). We were able to get a cart that we need because of bad backs, but they have only about six carts. I will play here again at the right price.
Nice little 9-hole course
This was my first time walking 18 holes, and it was a lot of fun. I used the "Hot Deal" from Golf Now, which is for 18 holes. You play from different tees each time around, which adds a little variety. It looks like they filled in a lot of the old bunkers, so it seemed fairly easy. Not many 9-hole courses have a par-5, but this one does.
