Coyote Lakes Golf Club
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

I chose this course having played it several years ago. Today the course was nowhere near the condition I recall from the past. Greens and tee box boxes were extremely in need of water. Very dry and grass was dead. The fairways needed grooming. Grass to tall and effected ball roll. I will not play again nor would I recommended it.
Still a tough course
I haven't played this course in many years and forgot how challenging it is. Some easy holes but some where you better be accurate off the tee. The tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape. Some of the greens had damaged areas. Staff is friendly. Starter got me right out a little early in front of a threesome who i beleive did not have a reserved tee time. Only thing i can really say negative is the three woman behind me were not very courteous as they were hitting into me. I was still on the first and second greens when they hit approach shots. When i went to the 4th tee it started to rain. I waited it out for 10 minutes and never saw the woman again so i assume they quit because of the rain. Overall a very nice course that will challenge you off the tee. Qorth the cost of addmission.
The course was in average condition. The grass on the tee boxes was a little long. The fairways were adequate. The greens rolled fine but they didn't hold. There are some challenging holes. If you can get on it for less than $45, it's worth it.
Good Place to Golf
Nice course and friendly staff. Course is not too long, but has good undulation and some interesting holes. My first time playing but we really enjoyed it.
The fairway grass is mediocre. The course itself is well maintained. Pretty varied layout. A short course. Good value though.
Nice layout, nice staff.
Haven't played here in awhile. Course is still a challenge especially #2 (driver may not be the correct club), #6 (the wall), #10, (stay right),, #13 (stay right and on in two is very possible) and #14 ( a visually tricky par 3 ). Other holes are narrow with steep desert and rock sides. Sometimes you get a good bounce, sometimes you will not find it. Fun course.
Conditions were a bit shaggy. Tee boxes had very long grass. Fairways looked more like light rough and the greens were somewhat bumpy. The greens did roll fairly well despite the appearance. Staff was friendly helpful and welcoming. We finished in 4 hours and ten minutes through no fault of the course. Could have easily done it in under four but we did have a high handicapper with us. For a Sunday, that is good time either way. Our friends had never played there before and they enjoyed the layout as well. We'll be back.
Probably the most pleasant thing about the round was being able to complete it in less than 3/5 hours with a 4-some. The pro stop and cafe staff were great as usual. Also the course was in decent shape with the "real" grass slowly filling in. My only complaint is one that has been notable for years. Those doing maintenance on the course need more training on tee and pin locations. On several holes the tee markers were at the extreme front or back locations (less than 3 feet from the front/back edge) forcing golfers to either hit in an uphill or downhill motion. On one the forward foot was about 4" higher than the back. Tee box placement should be flat or reasonably so. On 3 holes the flag was only about 4' from the front edge and although I don't know if there is a firm rule most allow about a flag length minimum
Poor putting surfaces.
Shame for such an interesting layout
Course in terrible shape
Two different grass types growing in the greens made the ball jump all over the place. Had not watered the course. Extremely dry. Super thin lies due to the dry conditions. Toke 5 hours to play. Worst the course has looked since I've been playing it for the last 15 years. Miserable. Total rip off for the price.
Great use of property...
Love the way the course is routed. Very interesting mix of holes. Uphill, downhill, & good use of water to define driving areas. Not long, premium on accuracy off the tee.
Played the course for the first time today - booked as a single on Golfnow and got hooked up with three great guys. A bit late teeing off and the pace was a little slow, but otherwise enjoyed the round. The course was in good condition, nice layout and the staff were all very friendly. Overall a good experience and I look forward to playing this course again in the near future.
Course has character
Loved the layout of the course. Not flat some contoured greens. Right amount of hazards. Nice course for the money and considering a colder Feb than normal it's in good shape.
Enjoyable course to play.
Good course for the money
Pace of play was good. A challenging course with many water hazards.
I have played this course numerous times and enjoy the course. Greens were in poor condition, patchy and somewhat bare . Tee boxes were not in best shape, nor fairways.
Course is tight and is nice set up. Hopefully they get back on top of conditions
