Coyote Lakes Golf Club
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Best part of the round was lunch!
Lunch was good, but that was it.
Tee boxes - needed a hammer to get your tee in the ground.
Fairways - burnt garbage.
Greens - burnt, slow and bumpy.
Overall Score - dumpster fire.
Don and Tony are the BEST!!!!!
GREAT PLACE. GREAT SERVICE. GREAT PEOPLE.
DON AND TONY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!
VERY NICE COURSE!!!!
Don is the man there. Had a couple lessons with him and been to this course 4 time. Golf cart with GPS , 2 free water bottles included and lunch. Also the course and greens are well taken care of and I will be coming back with my friends to this course again.
Course in great shape. Played from the tips, super challenging and still fun
Great value - especially in the summer
I love this course. The pro shop personnel can be really nice or really jerky, I won’t mention which one, but the guys in the garage, who take care of the clubs and carts are great. Course is not long but very narrow. Miss the fairway, and you can go to your bag for a new ball. 10th hole - no matter how hard you try to keep the ball on the fairway, if you don’t hit your 2nd shot just right, it will roll down into the water. Very unfair, as you can hit a great 2nd shot but you’re not rewarded. Course is in good shape and the greens roll very nicely. I highly recommend this course.
I like this course
I've always liked this course. I do not play it to often as I prefer a longer course but it is challenging with shot making. Course was in good shape and it was a good round for the most part. Got very frustrating as i went out very early and breezed thru the front nine but then ran into several very slow groups that obviously teed off on the backside. Had to wait several minutes on every tee and fairway. Not sure i understand them doing this.
No warm up???
This was the first time playing this course. Asked for range balls to warm up. Attendant states that this place uses practice balls?? Balls that are something like a wiffle ball that goes a short distance because their range is very small and not adequate for regulation balls. What.?? Really??He goes on to tell my wife he woukd like us to start our round without warm up( we were 30 minutes before our scheduled tee time.)
There are so many other courses that offer an appropriate warm up and practice range.
Second, the course needs work.
Course was in shape and getting a tee time was easier than I would have thought for this time of year.
I chose this course having played it several years ago. Today the course was nowhere near the condition I recall from the past. Greens and tee box boxes were extremely in need of water. Very dry and grass was dead. The fairways needed grooming. Grass to tall and effected ball roll. I will not play again nor would I recommended it.
Still a tough course
I haven't played this course in many years and forgot how challenging it is. Some easy holes but some where you better be accurate off the tee. The tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape. Some of the greens had damaged areas. Staff is friendly. Starter got me right out a little early in front of a threesome who i beleive did not have a reserved tee time. Only thing i can really say negative is the three woman behind me were not very courteous as they were hitting into me. I was still on the first and second greens when they hit approach shots. When i went to the 4th tee it started to rain. I waited it out for 10 minutes and never saw the woman again so i assume they quit because of the rain. Overall a very nice course that will challenge you off the tee. Qorth the cost of addmission.
The course was in average condition. The grass on the tee boxes was a little long. The fairways were adequate. The greens rolled fine but they didn't hold. There are some challenging holes. If you can get on it for less than $45, it's worth it.
Good Place to Golf
Nice course and friendly staff. Course is not too long, but has good undulation and some interesting holes. My first time playing but we really enjoyed it.
The fairway grass is mediocre. The course itself is well maintained. Pretty varied layout. A short course. Good value though.
Nice layout, nice staff.
Haven't played here in awhile. Course is still a challenge especially #2 (driver may not be the correct club), #6 (the wall), #10, (stay right),, #13 (stay right and on in two is very possible) and #14 ( a visually tricky par 3 ). Other holes are narrow with steep desert and rock sides. Sometimes you get a good bounce, sometimes you will not find it. Fun course.
Conditions were a bit shaggy. Tee boxes had very long grass. Fairways looked more like light rough and the greens were somewhat bumpy. The greens did roll fairly well despite the appearance. Staff was friendly helpful and welcoming. We finished in 4 hours and ten minutes through no fault of the course. Could have easily done it in under four but we did have a high handicapper with us. For a Sunday, that is good time either way. Our friends had never played there before and they enjoyed the layout as well. We'll be back.
