North Golf Course at Granite Falls Golf Club
About
The North Course is one of two courses at Granite Falls Golf Club, the other naturally being the South Course. The North Course was built on a rolling, hilly terrain with stately trees and abundant shrubbery. Although the fairways are quite generous, they are undulating and surrounded by sand traps. There is also extensive mounding and bunkering, both grass and sand, to provide more challenge. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Many holes have beautiful mountain backdrops, creating a scenic environment for the game. The course has four sets of tees, making it accessible to all skill levels. Granite Falls Golf Club, in addition to the two golf courses, also features a grass driving range with target areas, two putting greens, and a short game area with a practice bunker.

Fun course
Excellent shape, played in a shotgun start, pro shop was busy with everybody, but were friendly. I never see this course on GolfNow, so when I did I booked it. The fairways were excellent and so were the greens. Beautiful layout, will definitely play it again!
Crazy good summertime value
Beautiful challenging golf course with great bunkering and beautiful fairways with thick rough. Waste areas weren’t awful to play out of. Most of all it was pretty generous off of the tee boxes.
Staff was accommodating and pleasant. We’ll be back for sure.
Amazing value
Greens rolled well after getting an inch of rain yesterday. Fairways a little hairy but to be expected. I’d play here again easily before those ridiculously overpriced courses in the area.
The best of SCG courses
I always enjoy to play at Grand and I like the North course the best. The only issue with ALL of the Grand courses - what possessed you to use checkered flags on the greens. We’re old people with lousy sight. How do you expect us to see the red and blue checkers from 200+ yards????
Course Conditions
Greens rolling smooth and on the faster side which is great. Fairways had a good cut, not fluff which was nice. Course is in good condition I'll play here again.
In the Top 3 of Courses to Play
Had a great time playing this course for the first time. Green speed was perfect and the course was VERY well maintained. Staff were friendly and were knowledgeable as well. Will definitely be playing here again in the near future.
Beautiful Course
Absolutely loved the course! Being from the upper Midwest, not used to beauty of desert courses. The Granite Falls North course is stunning and very well kept. The staff were very friendly. The driving range and putting and pitching areas were great. Only thing lacking was a starter to give us basic information when starting. There was not an overabundance of drinking water on the course, one place on the front & one place on the back (not including the turn) finally saw a guy on hold 15 who had a couple of coolers on his cart and sold us some water. So come prepared with water. Concession stand closed at Noon. Great course otherwise. Will definitely play again if in the area.
Enjoyment
Played both courses at Granite Falls. Enjoyed both. Course were in very good condition and pace of play was great!
Will definitely play again and recommend to everyone.
Course Conditions
Greens are recovering from Maintenance, not a bad roll and speed but still a little slow. Fairways are nice as well the tee blocks. Sand traps had sand which is great. I'll play here again.
nice as usual
having played this course many times there was nothing unfamiliar. summer golf in AZ has the perk of faster pace when playing later in the day, and on a course that is in usually good shape i certainly appreciate that
Fun course
Thus West Valley golf course is in very good condition for this time of year and should definitely be on everybody’s bucket list to play
Can’t go wrong
Very good practice range, putting and chipping greens. Course is challenging enough to enjoy and not too long for the novice. Greens are tough to read and have the tendency to roll towards the mountains in spite of the read!
Great for friendly golf and small company tournaments!
Customer service
Overall my experience today was good ..however, I feel it could have been better had the front desk been a little bit more welcoming and friendly. It’s not the first time that I have played at this course and I happen to live in the community ..but I feel that he could be a bit more customer service oriented..
The course was recently aerated.
Usually this is a five Star golf course, however we played at a time when the course was under annual maintenance and therefore the greens, bunkers and fairways were the worst we’ve ever experienced.
Nonetheless, still a good value!
