Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
About
The executive-length Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills (formerly known as Rolling Hills Golf Course) provides an excellent game and it is a very player-friendly course. True to its name, the course is quite hilly causing a few elevation changes and undulating greens. The fairways are lined with pretty trees, adding some challenge and beauty to the course. There are no water hazards but there are a few strategically placed bunkers to worry about as well as some out-of-bounds stakes bordering a few of the holes. Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills consists of ten par 3s and eight par 4s. On the premises there are also practice facilities, a pro shop, and an on-site golf pro.

Best value this time of year !
This course is short and pretty tight, but great for your short game & if you want to get in a round under 4 hrs ! Greens & fairways were great shape , scenic views are always nice & cart girl was making the rounds frequently !
ZZZZZZZzzzzzz
It took us 2.25 hours to play 9 holes. (We're talking an executive course.) I've often played 18 in about the same amount of time.
We paid for 18 holes, but decided to quit after 9; quit, that is, before we started screaming.
Come to think of it, I'd better quit writing now. (I'm feeling a scream coming on!)
(Regarding the list below: "This course is great for, 'A long nap after every hole.')
Rolling Hills
Not a big fan of par 3’s with a lot of slope. Easy to get in trouble even with was seems to be a good shot.
Nice course but challenging
Golf course was in good shape. Greens a bit thin but green and very challenging.
Enjoyed the day, a 'special' birthday for my wife that day and was a great way to start her day, Will be back.
Challenging diamond in the rough
This is a very challenging course and greens are tricky. In great condition, looking forward to playing it a second time now we know the lay of the land somewhat better. Thank you for a great day.
Fun, quick course
This course has tough greens that make up for the short fairways. A nice challenge and a great value
A little slow but fun to play. Greens a little thin in places but rolled.reasonably well. Lots on undulation to make them interesting
Staff was super friendly
Expensive and slow
We waited on every hole, up to 25 minutes at some holes.
The price was too expensive, should have been half the cost for what we got. The staff was friendly.
Nice layout
First time playing this course I found it to be well laid and moderately challenging with several rolling hills and elevation changes. Greens were fast but held shots well. We did not get to play the back nine because of a severe back up so we played the front nine again as it was wide open. That would be my only knock on the staff as the pace of play was not managed very well. I am looking forward to playing it again with the hopes of seeing the back nine.
A Very Busy Place
Was looking for a place to play some golf in the east Valley and this was the choice. Course was packed with golfers and the first tee was not manned by anyone...so you just got up there at your approximate time and went. Pace was slow, even though they did have a marshall out on the course. Greens were nice and puttable and on the fast side...firm also. The fairways were average at best, not in the best condition. Overall it was a nice day on the golf course. Will play it again to see if the conditions have improved.
Theystacktooclose
The course was very nice and tried to enjoy it because weather was perfect. Pace of play was awful and they charged extra because it was holiday. Had booked on line so that was disconcerting. Starter was friendly and cart worker was also helpful.
