Very Good Golf Course

The fairways and areas surrounding the greens were very moist. This decreased distance off the tee due to lack of or minimal roll out.. Shots into greens, if the fringe was hit, had no roll out. The greens were in good shape, not exceptionally fast, but you had to pay attention to speed.
The hitting area at the driving range could be improved.
Post round bar and restaurant was very good.

Best bang for your buck in Tucson

I've played here twice now and both times had a really good experience. The greens and fairways were in great shape and the layout of the course make for a fun round. The staff had great customer service and multiple people around to help. Lots of water on the course and overall had a great experience. Definitely will be back to play again. If only this course was closer to where I live or I'd make this my go to course for a quick round.

Forty Niner GC in Tucson, AZ

This was my first time playing the Forty Niner GC. I was warmly greeted in clubhouse & informed to check in with starter outside. Starter said that I could wait for 15 minutes to my tee time, playing alone...or join husband-wife group next on tee. I did and really enjoyed my round. I let those 2 lead to next holes, which weave into various neighborhoods. I would have definitely had some problems finding next hole. Upon completing my round, a very friendly asked me to drive my clubs to my car, cleaning clubs enroute; all the time discussing last nights NFL MN Vikings close loss to Seattle Seahawks.. I will definitely play
this course in Tucson again. Great price for very good course layout. THANKS GOLF NOW FOR HOT DEAL GETTING ME TO PLAY THERE!

Fun Round

Though quite the drive from NW Tucson, this course is an enjoyable respite from the normal SW AZ Desert Course. Narrow with trees. Shoot straight and you will do well.

The staff was very helpful. The course has very spotty fairways and terrible bunkers. Pace of play was excellent.

Terrific Course

Thoroughly enjoyed my round today. Course is in really great shape, no more areas with ground under repair as in past years. Rough/tree areas are cleared so I can find my ball that has an affinity for trees. Fairways are really in good shape and tee boxes are green. Only slight negative is that the grass on the greens are a bit short and the greens are hard so I could not get a lofted shot to stick and puts were really fast. I am typically short of the hole on puts, but not today. Staff and groundskeepers are very friendly and workers shut off equipment and moved out of the way when you approached.

49r Golf Course

I really enjoyed playing the course. It was in good condition.. fairways nice.. greens a nice pace. Don’t stray too far off though as out of bounds are on nearly every hole. Would definitely play it again! Nice putting and chipping facility although the driving range was heavily used and hard to find some good green grass. Rate through Golf Now was amazing. Also enjoyed the community of houses that the course wove through.

Old Style Course with lots of shade.

I love 49er. The course is in good condition and is a great value. Staff are helpful and friendly. Lots of carts, and an ice and water machine. Holes 10 and 18 are Par 3s over water.

This course reminds me of courses in the east, because of the large shade trees and greenery. This is not your typical desert target golf course.

The cafe has wonderful fresh food, try the pizza with cauliflower crust. Happy hour every day at 3 p.m.
