Nice course.
Tee area divots had been recently sanded, which is nice. Fairways and greens in good shape. they need a marshal. 4 some in front of us had at least 2 empty holes in front of them on 18. Odd layout doesn’t go by clubhouse on 10 on either course. They should let you know about that oddity when you check in.

Great course
We enjoyed playing this course. Front nine was slow but after a couple groups quit we moved along quickly. Course in great shape and very friendly staff.

VERY NICE
The Conquistador 18 (also a Canada 18) was very nice. It was well worth the price unlike other courses that charge the same amount for poorer conditions. This course was very upkept and fairways and greens were in very good condition. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Best value course
We played both courses (El Conquistador and La Cañada) this past weekend and had a great experience. Both were in great shape, and we were able to play them for ~30% less than other public courses that aren’t as nice. The best part was the pace of play — during the winter in Tucson you almost always have to sit and wait at every tee box, fairway, etc. for the group in front of you. But both times these courses were moving, even though they were pretty full. We did end of day times and got through 15 holes in about 3 hours with a 4-some!
