Course was in great shape, staff was courteous, computers were down but let me go ahead and play, came back after the round and paid my fee! Staff is always appreciative here and very helpful!
I was staying in tucson and decided to play this course as it was by where I was staying. The greens were maybe the worst I have played. The fairways were average, cart paths non-existent, and dirt patches throughout. The greens were “shaggy” with weeds coming through the turf grass. Some had super rough patches and missing grass all together.
Thursday Course Walk-on
Very convenient, no crowding. All staff were Covid compliant and friendly. Played by myself w/cart and was able to finish 18 in just a little over two hours - nice! The greens were very dry and a couple had some damage and bare spots, but very consistent pace. Overcast with a few sprinkles and temperature barely into the 80's after a couple weeks of triple digits - very pleasant. Great challenge for anyone's short game and accuracy. Will definitely be back.
Had a great morning, fairways in good shape, greens ok, and I'll definitely be back again !
Great Executive course
Love this course. I can play 18 holes in 2 hours. Close by and easy to get to. All staff great.
Fine for short game practice
Tried Dorado as my wife prefers an executive course. She loved it. I found it good for some short game work but for the $40 it was a bit over priced. The course was in pretty good shape. The greens are small which does add to the challenge. Not a place to pull driver unless you are very accurate as the course is narrow. If they offered a hotdeal I might consider going back.
First time here
We enjoyed the variety of shots and shorter game challenges.
Good way to improve
Very nice staff and the horse was in good shape.
Uneven tees, with too long grass on tees and fairways. Little sand in bunkers. Too many of the par threes are same exact yardage. Ducks and turtles love peanuts.
Good course for a warm round
Our first round of play in a few months coming from a Midwest winter. Good course to get the feel of you swing back. Very nice staff.
Frayed around the edges.
Pretty tight little course. Not very long so leave the driver home. Good for the short game. A favorite of retirees and older players. Go early and avoid the slow players like we did. Great for walking. It was fun but the course is pretty worn out.
Love this course, the price on golfnow was more than the course charges!
Nice course it's a good begginers course. Lots of straight shots so my wife and I just getting back into it after all these years found it enjoyable. Course condition is a little rough but with as hot as it is this time of year I'm sure that's normal for this area. The staff were extremely friendly and nice and patient with questions.
